If the arrows did fall and strike the world at it's heel
Many will miss the decadence and lament what they feel.

It's the morning of the twentyfirst day of september.
With the next two days percieved to be remembered.

We need to consider the little things we know for sure?
Autumn begins under a bright full moon and yom kippur.

Will that moon turn to blood and cause the market to crash?
Will the blue collar starve if it's the end of cash?

Do you believe in the men dressed in red, white and blue?
When you've been told many times, they don't care about you.

What if their army arrives at your door?
And leaves you behind defenseless and poor?

With rumors running, somethings coming out of the sky
What if it's the Lord will you still run and hide?

If the earth starts to shake will it fill you with fear?
As I crank up the rock and crack open a beer?

And if a great wave of beer washes my house away?
I'll look for the members here to begin a new day.

Dont know about us but im sure the Dolphins will sing,

"So long and thanks for all the fish
So sad that it should come to this
We tried to warn you all that your dead

You may not share our intellect
Which might explain your disrespect
For all the natural wonders that
grow around you

So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish

The world's about to be destroyed
There's no point getting all annoyed
Lie back and let the planet dissolve(around you)

Despite those nets of tuna fleets
We thought that most of you were sweet
Especially tiny tots and your
pregnant women

So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long

So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish

If I had just one last wish
I would like a tasty fish
If we could just change one thing
We would all have learned to sing.

Come one and all
Man and Mammal
Side by Side in life's great gene pool

(oooohhh oooohhh oooaahhhhh- ah ahh)

So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long

So long, so long and, !Thanks!
for all the fish!"

Count on ket to take things in an entirely different direction.

Which is very cool of course.

I'm not much of a lyricist, but this at least stays within your apocalyptic theme.

And yes, I am old enough to remember when this was released in 1971.

ETA: Don't let the intro fool you. It's rock!

What? You think we're going down in two days?

Maybe. I'm seriously not worried about it. God's got my back.

I feel the same way. Apocalypse means a lifting of the veil. The way I look at it, all the inhibitions that prevent our every thought from manifesting as reality (such as in a dream), will be lifted, and all the wicked thinking people will attract such things. While the faithful will remain unscathed.

This is why CERN is interesting, what if their experiments lift the veil?

While we're at it:

"I sat with elders of a gentle race, this world has seldom seen.
They talked of days for which they sit and wait: All will be revealed"

The only way CERN will lift the veil regrading humanity is by furthering our understanding of our science and reality by way of experimentation.

Wow, I was just thinking about this song yesterday...

As I sat on the couch, licking my wounds (Saints fan), pondering this new doom date, I watched the Zep concert from the DVD, from 2013...and I was hoping this was on the set list, but it wasn't...

Thanks for posting, one of my favorite Zeppelin tunes!

The song is still playing but I'm impressed. Where did you come
up with that Klass? For 71 that seems very progressive and I'm
at loss as to why, I haven't been introduced to them ever.

Well done.

Well done.

They were a rock band from Greece. They weren't really known in the U.S. until Vangelis decided to use them for a concept album(rock opera style) called 666. It was this song preceded by a song called "Loud, loud, loud, that launched their album in the U.S. through a progressive rock station in St. Louis called KSHE95. And that is where I first heard them.
This is by far their best song. Their music was...different. Nothing most rockers or progressives would normally listen to, but I like their quirkiness and their use of the Clavichord, like in "rain and tears". A few other known tracks would be "End of the world" and "Spring, summer, winter and fall".

I love music in all its different genres. Always have. The following video put the two cuts back together, the way they were meant to be heard. Should have posted this first, but I didn't think of it.

No... no... not the Demis! Please, please, not the Demis!

I once lived in a student hostel with a Greek guy who claimed to have been in a band with Roussos back in the 1960s.

I didn't believe him.

Lol!

Hey, you never know Asty. He might have been. Demis and the band didn't exactly make a splash, even in Greece and Germany, until Vangelis picked up on them.
