Here are the lyrics:

I'm a flame
You're a fire
I'm the dark in need of light
When we touch, you inspire
Feel the change in me tonight
So take me up, take me higher
There's a world not far from here
We can dance in desire
Or we can burn in love tonight

Our hearts are like firestones
And when they strike, we feel the love
Sparks will fly, they ignite our bones
But when they strike, we light up the world

Our hearts are like firestones
And when they strike, we feel the love
Sparks will fly, they ignite our bones
But when they strike, we light up the world
We light up the world

We light up the world
Oooh oooh
World
Oooh oooh
Firestone

I'm from X, you're from Y
Perfect strangers in the night
Here we are, come together
To the world we'll testify

Our hearts are like
Firestones,
And when they strike,
We feel the love
Sparks will fly, they ignite our bones
But when they strike, we light up the world

Our hearts are like, firestones
And when they strike,
We feel the love, Sparks will fly,
They ignite our bones
And when they strike,
We light up the world

We light up the world
We light up the world
Oooh oooh
World
Oooh oooh
Firestone

Are the lyrics about Burning in desire or burning in love a reference to burning in passion/lust (Desire) or with the presence of God (Love) which appeared as a flame/light to Ezekiel and Moses?

Does "We Light Up The World" a reference to how Jesus said, "Let your Light so shine" (Matthew 5:16).

What do you think? Is this about God/Light and shining your Light in the world in unity for Heaven and Humanity or just about romance?

I think it is about arson. Maybe self immolation. Very dark in my opinion. Probably about killing yourself for jesus and setting the world on fire.

I don't see anything about Christianity in that song

Is it a Christian song?

Interesting how Christianity embraces the mainstream thEse days

I see the word testify, testify what exactly

Not even lukewarm

From my point of view.

You can make the song about the light resonating in the body creating the fire within. Some souls know how to transfer an high amount of light from one body to the next. Laying of hands. One of the techniques is called Reiki. The souls I have met who can do it is very wonderful.

One of the reasons I believe Yeshua knew what he was talking about is that he uses the right words to describe real physical sensations that can happen. An anointed ONE.

This is mainstream? How many songs on the radio are about living in Light and choosing Love over greed and lust ("desire")?

That's what made this song so interesting to me.

That with Love, we Light up the world?

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 5:16

"You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden." - Matthew 5:14

" He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes." - 1 John 2:10-11

Yes, I heard of Reiki. I think it's just another name for The Pure White Light of God to inspire Healing and Love (although, some do use different colors/energies for other specific purposes).

You said The Light creates The Fire, but what if it's The Fire (Warmth/Love) that creates The Light (Wisdom/Being able to see)? Things become Hot first and then they Light Up.

Keep in mind that in ancient times, Fire and Light were seen as different elements by some, the Sun as Light representing Spirit/God and tourches or lamps as Fire representing Wisdom (since it Lights up the dark), but now we know that even The Sun is a type of Fire (burning).

Fire = Warmth (Love/Passion) + Light (Wisdom/Awareness)

What do you think?

This topic is really interesting to me.

Did you ever see the South Park episode where Cartman forms a Christian rock band? His songwriting process is sort of what this song reminds me of.

The information can both be a physical manifestation and a philosophical idea.

Spirit energy(light) interacting with body and mind (both conscious and unconscious). Body and mind (both conscious and unconscious) interacting creating a place for Spirit energy(light) to be.

I think of it as light being energy in different forms going thru the body manifesting in cold, heat and vibration and depending on part it activates you will receive Love/Passion(The Fire), Wisdom/Awareness(The Water).

Some people become Radio Active when the "third eye" sensors are activated.
