No, they don't.
The right like to say they do, but that doesn't make it true. At most they hate when religious law gets pushed and sadly many 'chrisitian' politicians seem try that.
That isn't what Carson is saying, he is saying a muslim shouldn't be president, full stop.

You are incorrect, There were a lot of people saying Kennedy should not be president because he was catholic. There have been numerous times when someones religious beliefs were brought into question.

Carson needs to look deep down to see whats real in this country and racism is a major part of that. He doesn't realize it but he is just adding fuel to the fire . Now he wants to deport all of the Syrian refugees because he doesn't trust muslims and think that there all out to get us . leave the Syrian refugees alone and let them come in

I don't feel he is fit to be president, but that doesn't have anything to do with his race or religion.


For someone to claim anyone belonging to a race x or religion x are unfit to lead or hold a certain political position would be at least one good reason why he is unfit to lead.

guess he missed Article VI of the US Constitution that forbids a religious test for public office. Even if you never read much beyond the Rights deemed inalienable, Freedom of Religion ought to have this pretty well covered.
