Kayaking Whale watchers get more than they bargained for in California

Whale watching from a Kayak must be a really special experience , having a Humpback Whale breach in front of your Kayak must be tremendously exiting up until the moment this happens.....


The kayakers , a couple from London , were unhurt but shaken after their close encounter.

The looks on their faces clinging to the side of the boat

" a 50 ton humpback landed right on our boat, and almost broke our backs but IT WAS GREAT!!"

I saw this earlier and the pic alone scared the crap out of me.

I am a kayaking lover...no doubt about it. But, I kayak in rivers and creeks...never the ocean.

That is an example of pretty much why.

Wow the camera man is just so happy with himself that he got the whale crushing the folks in the kayak before he found out they were ok.
The excitement of the possibility of a viral video must have made him lose his interest in the possible outcome.

But, glad the folks are ok.
