I have lived many years, and have studied many things. I have seen chaos I have seen war.

I was abused. I have been abused physically, emotionally, and sexually, and have seen suffering, and experienced suffering.

I have been falsely accused of heinous crimes. I have had to flee with my family to another country to protect them against my haters.

I have been hated by my brothers, I have been accused by my brothers without provocation. I have suffered.

What I have come to know is that Jehovah is the true God.

And I have never been lacking anything.

I know suffering. I know trial. I know tribulation. I know endurance. And I have faith.

Everyone reading this. I know what you are going through. I know...I know more than you can know.

And I know that the tested quality of our faith produces endurance. And endurance salvation.

(James 1:2-4) . . .Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you meet with various trials, 3 knowing as you do that this tested quality of your faith produces endurance. 4 But let endurance complete its work, so that you may be complete and sound in all respects, not lacking in anything.

I also know that not all religions are true. And that only one, obscure one leads to the truth. I also know what is going to happen in the near future.

Do not fear about the so-called warnings, and dreams, and signs you are given. For there is but one, now. It is this:

(1 Thessalonians 5:3) 3 Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly on them, just like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will by no means escape.

Yes, there is going to be a worldwide cry of "peace and security" first. that has not been done yet.

There is yet time.

And God knows you, and he loves you.

Pretty good post and only this one line that to me needs editing .

And I know that the tested quality of our faith produces endurance. And endurance salvation.
Salvation is the initial state that all of the other things are given purpose . I think of the thief on the cross that received his salvation and did suffer and was able to endure to the end but the other thief suffered and endured the same but had no salvation ....peace

But it was his faith in Jesus that saved him, in the end. Not anything he did. He was an evildoer. And even evildoers are promised a resurrection:

(John 5:28, 29) . . .Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

All of us, at one time or another were evildoers. We don't know what his crimes were, but he admitted that what he did was worth being crucified and dying for. Was it rape? Murder? But he did know that Jesus was perfect and blameless. And Jesus was the Christ, and king. And he supplicated him as such.

I want to reason as to what the demons think:

(James 2:19) . . .You believe that there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder.

And yet you know there is no God. It reminds me of this:

(Psalm 10:4) In his haughtiness, the wicked man makes no investigation; All his thoughts are: “There is no God.”

There may not be a "God" in the conventional sense, but there is something greater than us. It's hard to believe that there is a designed purpose to all this seeming chaos, but I also refuse to believe that there is no thread holding this cloth together.

There has to be something inbetween.

God is real. And he is close at hand.

When Paul once talked to the Athenians he used their many gods, and one, they dedicated to the "unknown" god, in their fear of angering any God. In his speech he said some very very profound things, to those profound thinkers... listen:

(Acts 17:22-31) . . .“Men of Athens, I see that in all things you seem to be more given to the fear of the deities than others are. 23 For instance, while passing along and carefully observing your objects of veneration, I found even an altar on which had been inscribed ‘To an Unknown God.’ Therefore, what you are unknowingly worshipping, this I am declaring to you. 24 The God who made the world and all the things in it, being, as he is, Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade temples; 25 nor is he served by human hands as if he needed anything, because he himself gives to all people life and breath and all things. 26 And he made out of one man every nation of men to dwell on the entire surface of the earth, and he decreed the appointed times and the set limits of where men would dwell, 27 so that they would seek God, if they might grope for him and really find him, although, in fact, he is not far off from each one of us. 28 For by him we have life and move and exist, even as some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his children.’ 29 “Therefore, since we are the children of God, we should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, like something sculptured by the art and design of humans. 30 True, God has overlooked the times of such ignorance; but now he is declaring to all people everywhere that they should repent. 31 Because he has set a day on which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him from the dead.”

I know there is no God just as much as you can know there is one.....quoting verses from a book do not make a God real, nor do they make me a "wicked man". 38 years on this earth is enough investigation for me to understand there is no God.

I think it's time for ATS to officially start a new thread classification for the "Preacher" members. THE END is NIGH Where they can quote their Holy word to their hearts content, save the souls that are interested in being saved and promulgate their Revelation doom porn till the cows come home.

On the contrary. Just as you know there is no God. His son Jesus says, that no one can come to him, unless God calls him:

(John 6:65) . . .He went on to say: “This is why I have said to you, no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”

Basically what that means, is, God reveals himself to whom he wills. And thus, just because you have your own world view, doesn't mean, everyone has the same. It is quite arrogant, and ignorant to think such.

I will give you an example in the Bible itself.

Paul.

He was a hater of Christ, he hated him so much that he wanted to persecute and jail, and murder everyone that followed Christ. Yet somewhere on his travels, Jesus himself appeared to Paul and said:

(Acts 9:4, 5) . . .“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” 5 He asked: “Who are you, Lord?” He said: “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

This was after a bright light was shown him from the sky. Now he was blinded by that light, and his attendants didn't understand the voice.

He was told that he was to go to a believer of Jesus, and then his blindness would be taken away:

(Acts 9:17, 18) . . .So An·a·niʹas went and entered the house, and he laid his hands on him and said: “Saul, brother, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road along which you were coming, has sent me so that you may recover sight and be filled with holy spirit.” 18 And immediately, what looked like scales fell from his eyes, and he recovered his sight. . . .

You see, the fetters over his eyes fell away. Perhaps you can't see. (pun?)

Can you see? Anyone?

The very fact that if you aren't saved and a believer....then you are doomed to the lake of fire and eternal damnation.

That imo is the ultimate doom porn.

Well, that would be doom porn indeed. Especially for a nonbeliever.

I mean, what in my post made you say that?

I can't really see anything but quoting from a book. Never met Jesus myself so I wouldn't know what he actually said, or if he really existed.

He did exist. And you can know what he said by reading the Good News, or gospels. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)

Read them please. You can read the book of Mark, in maybe 30 minutes. ?? Really.

It is nothing like any other person has ever written or spoken in all times.

Read it, if you have any experience or knowledge about humans, you will know.

No. I am speaking from someone how has read it over 13 times. Probably many more. I lost track after awhile.

What I do remember though, when I first started to learn it, was how God's spirit would lead you to an understanding of things, because of a want and humility.

Just as Jesus stated:

(Matthew 7:7, 8) . . .“Keep on asking, and it will be given you; keep on seeking, and you will find; keep on knocking, and it will be opened to you; 8 for everyone asking receives, and everyone seeking finds, and to everyone knocking, it will be opened.

If you have indeed read it and come away empty handed I can only think of what Jesus said here:

(Matthew 13:13-15) . . .That is why I speak to them by the use of illustrations; for looking, they look in vain, and hearing, they hear in vain, nor do they get the sense of it. 14 And the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled in their case. It says: ‘You will indeed hear but by no means get the sense of it, and you will indeed look but by no means see. 15 For the heart of this people has grown unreceptive, and with their ears they have heard without response, and they have shut their eyes, so that they might never see with their eyes and hear with their ears and get the sense of it with their hearts and turn back and I heal them.’

Healing is very readily available to ANYONE that wants it.

For were your sins as red as scarlet, they can be made as white as snow:

(Isaiah 1:18) 18 “Come, now, and let us set matters straight between us,” says Jehovah. “Though your sins are like scarlet, They will be made as white as snow; Though they are as red as crimson cloth, They will become like wool.

Why must you ignore Jehovah's word? Why not accept an invitation to a clean conscious before God and all men?

Again...quoting from a book does not make it real. Just pointing that out. I have read quite a few religious books. What makes yours real and others not?

I too have ready from many books. But what makes God's real from the others?

Well he himself says:

(Hebrews 4:12) For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints from the marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart.

That is, his word is alive, it has effect. It is not just me quoting scripture, it is him speaking to you.

In any event, no other work on earth claims to be inspired of Jehovah God. None.

The book of Mormon claims to be the work of angles, as "they know it" to be.

And the Koran blatantly contradicts many things in the Bible. The main thing being that Jesus is God's son. They refute that claim and say he is just a prophet. And yet what does the Bible state?

(1 John 2:22, 23)  Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Everyone who denies the Son does not have the Father either. But whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

(Galatians 1:8) . . .However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to you as good news something beyond the good news we declared to you, let him be accursed.
