Based on the lack of will to finish it. It is my reason for getting out of it. Post haste. If your not going to do what it takes to win then get the hell out.

This could have been over years ago.

In a lecture recently, Sanders stated that the U.S. was founded by racists or on racist principals.

With Obama, he was quoted as saying the Constitution was fundamentally flawed. He has certainly highlighted the weaknesses inherent in the Constitution, or at least, the lack of application.

With Sanders, we have an outright attack/invalidation of the very idea of the U.S. and it's fundamentals. He attacks the 'idea' of the U.S.. This permits, with those supporting him the right/obligation to totally change/ ignore that Constitution.

He is at war with the very fabric of the United States of America. Absolutely no different in that attack than Isis of extremist Islamists. In Islam, which translates into the English word 'submit' the concept of free choice, democracy or a representative gov't is in direct opposition to the tenets of Islam.

Again, war with the 'idea'.

While the motivation is different, the war Sanders, et al, are proposing is also a war with the idea that is the U.S.. Zero difference in goal or intended result.

While slavery existed at the time of the Constitution, so did every other sin/crime/ insanity that's been documented by mankind. Murder, rape greed, the whole litany of man's ills existed at the time. As it did during the formation of Magna Carta, the golden age of Greece, and every time a major advancement took place in our history.

In fact, having those flaws pointed out makes the very development of these advancements even more profound. They rose above the commonality of mankind and reached new levels. DESPITE THEIR INDIVIDUAL ISSUES. Simply amazing.

In our wars, no nation ever wanted the U.S. as a concept destroyed or erased from history...until now... Islamic extremism and now the 'coming out' of the Sanders gambit. Destroy the idea. Kind of makes sense when the trend of Islamic appeasement of this administration and the 'marginalizing' of Christianity and it's tenets. Destruction of the U.S., in it's present form, and some idyllic utopia rising from the ashes.

This man, as President, has the potential to make Obama look like a saint!!

He needs to be fought in the arena of ideas until thoroughly defeated.

Edit. I found the You Tube video of Sanders speech for those that are interested. I haven't yet listened to it. I wanted to get it out first.

Talk about petty mud slinging hyperbol!

God theres plenty of things to attack sanders on.

The lastest 18 trillion price tag of some of his ideas is a start!

But to compare him to ISIS?

Well just makes you look like a idiot.

The fact your ignoreing valid points to criticize him on just throw such a ridiculous comment out invalidates your point!

I've done it before in fact I said the same thing to my First Sargent while I was in the military and he agreed.

If that's the case, he's a traitor. Why hasn't he been arrested?

Because he is not.

American politics is based around both sides fling bull# claims while ignoreing the real points.

That way the idiots and sheeple get a show to fool them into thinking they have some sort of "working " republic and politicians themself can avoid faceing any of the real issues and keep the status quo.

Democratic Socialism still has no respect for person or property.

I would say that is highly debatable and not set in stone in anyway.

Your rights end where mine begin trump individual rights and that seems to be the motto of them.
Does the individual trump the rights of the mass?

A "mass" is not an individual to have rights.

O and mr expert on the USA constitution.

The 1st amendments means sanders is ENTITLED to say or hold any view he likes.
And unless he bypasses congress to change the constitution he is fully allowed to say and to hold such viewa while holding office.

The first amendment holds he is niether a criminal nor traiter. However much you may disagree with him.
You view means naught in the eyes of the law and the only power you have is to vote against him.

Throwing hollow lables out just cheapens your stance.

Could win? I thought we did win? Iraq was relinquished of Saddam and power given to the people, or the Shiites. What was left to finish? The military forces stayed there until 2011, the war started in 2003. Lack of will to finish it? It was finished.

Cheney knew what would happen if the US toppled Saddam and that's exactly what its become. In fact, the Middle East has become a terrorist haven, ask Libya how well they're doing after NATO's bombing campaign and removal of Qaddafi. If anything, the military industrial complex is having a field day in the Middle East because we didn't pull out.

Coulda been over years ago? Pray tell, because if you think it was as simple as that then why isn't it over? I mean, surely, if you can figure out the solution then so could our Gov't.

Our soldiers died to protect the 'idea' that the U.S. is. You can't kill the 'idea' by killing people...or soldiers.

War with the 'idea' is worse than killing people, in this case, as kill the idea and it's, of course, dead. Kill people and the idea can and does live on.....

I say it is not hyperbole. Rather the simple truth of it.

No its hyperbol

Honestly

This is like the dumbest lable I have seen comeing from america.

How Sanders is even in the same league as a bunch of IS loons going round mass murdering people beats me.

Bernie is just a Socialist

Im not surprised by any of the statements hes made, because hes a Socialist, he admits it, and those views are not uncommon for someone with Socialist ideology

I applaud the man for being honest, and forthcoming, hes far ahead of the curve for anyone else that are Democratic candidates......

See you get.

Attack the policys not the man by stupid hyperbol.

Got to make you cringe when when stupid claims like the OP end up decrediting any REAL criticism.

As you said sanders has not lied about who and what he is and so far he is working withnin constitutional and legal limits.

HOLY S#. Wow. Just wow.

Bernie Sanders telling the truth that you can't find the balls to stomach yourself is somehow akin to rape and murder? Thanks for dashing any and all hope I had mustered for the immediate future of American politics. I was really hoping that with a new President (read: once the half black man was out of office) the wingnuts on the right would be willing to rejoin the rest of us in the real world.

I guess not.

He stated that the U.S. was founded by racists. he said it was a FACT. He can sugar-coat that with universal healthcare and the like. I care not.

I believe in the founding principals of this country and further attack on those founding fathers diminish that. I believe that is the intent.

If I have a choice between universal health care and the Constitution being applied? No contest. The Constitution wins every time....

If that makes me an "extreme right-winger" then sobeit. I have been made to take this stance by those on the left. I will take that label any day over yours....

The founding fathers WERE A BUNCH OF RACISTS!

So was everyone else in the white world at tge time!

Your founding fathers were just human not super human gods.

Hell thought everyone knew that without sanders haveing to point it out!

Did that make tge founding fathers evil? No as the views were as they were for the time. But they were still racists.

Marx has less to do with Democratic Socialism than public roads and fire departments do.

But you already knew that, right?

It is a stretch and it isn't. Look at all the other Great Societies that were founded in the ideas of Marx and went really, really wrong deciding that removing inconvenient portions of their population would be part of their five year solutions.

But it IS a stretch, its not even a comparison

ISIS is actively murdering, beheading, blowing up, cutting off heads, and selling women and children into Sex slavery....

Im not a Bernie fan but that comparison isnt fair....

Bernie is doing none of that....

The Idea of socialism going bad and costing lives yes is a scary one........and trust me im NO fan of adopting an all socialist policy

But to compare this guy with a group actively murdering innocence is dishonest.......

^^^ ditto

You seem to be making to much sense here.

As someone on the "right" in the UK it always irritates me when our more loony elements open there mouths to make BS statments like the op that not only distract from REAL issues but make all of us look like fruit loops.

I'm not even trying yet.

Get back to me when you can articulate the difference between communism and socialism.

At that point we can discuss the differences between socialism and "democratic socialism," ala -- Denmark.
