I would rather vote for Sanders to spend 18 T to build a better country, rather than vote for the others that would spend who knows how much on war, prisons and corporate welfare.

Who are they on? Who do you think? Everyone.....you think they are going to make a plan that only taxes corporations and rich people? That is almost as funny as being able to keep your own doctor with Obamacare.....
I am not rich, but I do make a good living. I pay 40% of my income in tax already. I want a freakin break. I don't want to pay for free education and healthcare for those that can't do for themselves. When you start handing out "free" stuff that is actually NOT free because people like me are paying for it, you get a very unhappy group of people who are the ones that are footing the bill.
You're preaching to the choir.

Let's take that a bit further.
"I think you should pay for your own roads, police, military (wars), firemen and every other public service paid for by the wealth of the public collective. This isn't because I'm conservative. It's because I'm a regressive asshole."
How does that sound? Doesn't sound very good, does it?
Too many people have no problem with socialist programs when they benefit directly, but then complain about programs that benefit everyone. Socialism is and has been part of this nation and we could use a little more of it. I know you don't like contributing to the prosperity of this country, but you have options. You can move to another nation that practices true conservatism.
Let me know when you find one.

Doesn't matter if Bernie was to spent 20 Trillion, because all the other candidates will attempt to do the same. The question is where is the money going to go?

Exactly!
The Neo Cons want wars and tax breaks at the same time, now who do you think they want to pay the costs?
I will give everyone a clue, it will not be the 1%!
Cut benefits for the poor and raise taxes on the working class, no they would never do such a thing, lol's.

And what was it that the Iran and Afghan wars cost? And what did the average American gain from those outlays?
Like, there's always enough money to go around if it's for killing brown people.

Stop deflecting and talk about the topic.
Thanks.

How much has been spent on war?
$2 Trillion dollars...
www.reuters.com...
...which is approximately equal to what the US spent on Social Security, Medicare, and social welfare in 2014, alone.

It's really easy to demonize the poor. It's basic human nature to enjoy feeling better than someone else.
The wealthy love pitting the middle class against the poor...it keeps the largest chunks of society distracted away from them.
Networks like FOX do a really good job convincing people that they are in a higher tax bracket than they are, and at the same time being robbed by the people poorer than them. The reality is that they're underpaid, under appreciated and being manipulated into some kind of abusive relationship.
Just like in an abusive relationship, the victim often times makes excuses for the abuser..."He really does love me, he didn't mean to hurt me so badly -- If I just listen to what he says he won't get so angry and hurt me. He's really a good person despite giving me a black eye and breaking my ribs! I'm lucky just to even have him!"

Elites should pay 40%? Why should they pay more than you or me? What's the incentive to become wealthy? Let's pretend I own a business. My business is doing well, and it's not even Wal MArt or Mcdonalds! I know, pretty shocking that small businesses still exist, huh? But we're doing okay. In fact, we could even expand and provide for jobs to our local economy! Oh, except it makes more sense to NOT make more money because we'd effectively be working harder for the same pay thanks to your tax tier.
You see this mentality all the time in those who are on unemployment. They won't take just any job because they "earn" more by receiving benefits. It's the same reason people working in the service industry don't report their cash tips. Only someone with absolutely no grasp on reality would fail to understand that.
