Just because I don't like religion it doesn't mean I dislike people and want them to suffer.

Typical......what about the non-christian refugees?
What are YOU doing.
We have Organizations funded by the people to actually make a difference. Please find one that you like and make a difference.
And YOU think making a thread in which you demonstrate your prejudice is doing something?
Raising awareness and donating... yes. Yes I do, at least I hope so.

P.S. it's been done ad nauseum
It happens every day, you read an article about the genocides happening in Syria, or see a picture of a starving refugee child in Turkey and you want to help. You recognize the injustice, thinking, "something must be done." But that's where the thought stops. You click out of the article, you keep scrolling past the image. Your thought never turns to action and nothing ever gets done.
Here at Mercury One we are saying "something must be done" and then we are actually taking action. We are no longer willing to stand by idly. We aim to raise awareness about the genocides happening in the Middle East, accrue aid for the refugees, and cultivate a nation that will say "Never Again Is Now!"
But we can't act alone, we need help - we need a nation of people willing to join us in taking action.
This is where you should stop scrolling and say "I am going to do something." Really say it out loud. "I am going to do something!"
Say it to your computer screen. Say it to the person sitting next to you. Scream it across the room if you have to, because now it should be welling up in your chest and you should be ready to take action.

I am for any and every refugee to find refuge somewhere.
The US should take in more, regardless of their religion.
Just wonder if we are going to scrutinize the Christians ones as much.
