Weary (poem)

Weary

Let me finish this, for I am weary,
Tired of fighting, the good fight,
I'm suffocating, hardly can breath,
It seems there is no end in sight.

Let me rest, be still for a bit,
I'm tired of walking this path alone.
Find a spot, to stop and sit,
To wonder 'bout all the things unknown.

To forget about the many woes,
That fill this world with so much dread.
To just watch the tide, its ebb and flow,
To just exist, be no more than I am.

This doesn't mean I've given up
Don't think that I will let you down.
Just need some time, to regroup,
To plant my feet back on the ground.

I can so relate to this, especially as it relates to ATS.
