Container with aid for "refugees" was full of weapons and ammunition

I know there are numerous threads already pertaining to the refugee crisis, so why not one more. On other threads some members are poo-pooing the idea when it is brought up that there could be a terrorism component that exists with the current crisis. Here is one example where weapons under the guise of aid are included in a container for refugees in Greece. It would be interesting to see who provided that container. I'm not saying the package was definitely for nefarious purposes, it could have been an innocent shipment of weapons for private purposes. But this shows it can be done.

There is undoubtedly an extremist element infiltrating in this exodus, to think otherwise or to not act accordingly would represent a massive strategic failure that ultimately will result in the deaths of innocent westerners, and likely a dismantling of the beautiful democratic and free society's that have taken the west thousands of years to build.

Inviting a group of people who do not cherish such traditions and higher understanding, may in fact encourage apartheid, and civil breakdown.

These things must be considered this is not racism, bigotry nor xenophobia. The protection of the people who genuinely need help should be foremost as that is a value of the wests, however we must fix this problem at it's root.

The solution is one the west is not ready to stomach and it's concerning. Regardless something must be done to stem the flow, and to place people where the west decides and not at their perceived lands of milk and honey. Something is truly strange about this exodus and it is being mishandled surely everyone can agree on that.

The ship, after coordinated of the Hellenic Coast Guard, immobilized openly of Ierapetra and the port control identified during the illegal cargo and proceeded to arrest crew.

Echelon Special Forces Coast Guard Chania and Heraklion switches to Ierapetra order to thoroughly investigate the content, origin and the final destination of the cargo.

In the early hours Wednesday, the cargo ship is expected to arrive in Heraklion.

Don't know who took the video, but it supposedly is in Greece.

I would think that it's not easy to ship weapons throughout Europe. The fact they are, in this case, labeled "aid for refugees" might just be a smuggling operation but not intended to actually go to the the migrants.

Personally, I'm worried for Europe. I don't see how so many people can be accommodated and there are a lot more on the way. With those numbers, there are going to be interlopers.

Lots of gun smuggling going on in the world. Watch CSI Miami. Innocent mistake I doubt. More likely a regular thing and it's being spun for the fear.

So you're saying that only teenagers are refugees? That jobless, disenchanted refugees in an unfamiliar country who are hungry won't resort to violence? ISIS has never recruited teenagers? That these people won't have access to weapons, that some most likely will eventually get through? .. hmmm doesnt make much sense...

Ok, in that case they have done a really good job with the funding they "got". But seriously, its very unlikely.
Those i have met, are just folks trying to reach a destination, and get some peace.

So maybe now, maybe they are just waiting for the bombs, so they can go around and blow them selves up, and terrorize Europe... really ?

You have an obvious agenda and are taking the argument to a ridiculous extreme. Of course, not all refugees are extremists, most likely 99.9% aren't. But yes, some ISIS can get through with the refugees who are innocent good folks. And it shows that there can be access to weapons. No, I don't care if they blow themselves up, but yes, I care if they terrorize Europe.

Yes, really! But they won't wait for shipments to arrive. Those that are inclined to terrorize will build all the explosives they need right in their new government provided homes using their government provided cost of living gifts.
