“In the mid 1980's I was asked by an american legal institution known as the Christic Legal Institute to compile a comic book that would detail the murky history of the C.I.A., from the end of the second world war, to the present day. Covering such things as the heroin smuggling during the Vietnam war, the coc aine smuggling during the war in Central America, the Kennedy assasination and other highlights.
What I learned during the frankly horrifying research that I had to slog through in order to accomplish this, was that yes, there is a conspiracy, in fact there are a great number of conspiracies that are all tripping each other up. And all of those conspiracies are run by paranoid fantasists, and ham fisted clowns. If you are on a list targeted by the C.I.A., you really have nothing to worry about. If however you have a name similar to someone on a list targeted by the C.I.A., then you are dead.
The main thing that I learned about conspiracy theory, is that conspiracy theorists believe in a conspiracy because that is more comforting. The truth of the world is that it is actually chaotic. The truth is that it is not The Iluminati, or The Jewish Banking Conspiracy, or the Gray Alien Theory. The truth is far more frightening.
Nobody is in control.
The world is rudderless…”

Thank you for bringing this up. Especially the part about the world being rudderless. It's a scary propsition, but it's true.
It's all one big house of cards.
Personally, I try to find humor in whatever I can. It makes it easier to live with.

A Satanic cult has colonized the earth. This is the key to understanding history and avoiding the pitfalls of modern "cult--ure."
Humanity is Satanically Possessed
"The illuminati started long before 1776, It has it's roots in the mystery religions which the knights templar perpetuated. In Nimrod's time, Semiramus brought back the mystery religions which were from before the time of Noah. The Illuminati was just a different name by which these same entities exsisted. They can change their name a thousand times, but the same entities run it."
Illuminati Roots
The Illuminati is a very covert satanic cult which dominates global commerce and the military / industrial complex. It's hierarchy is composed of thirteen bloodline families whose ancestry is traceable back to the Babylonian era.
STOP MISLEADING the CHILDREN
The core of the control over Planet Earth's populace lies in ancient cults. These cults are still in existence to this day.
Pseudoreality and The Governing of The Committee of 300
My theory about the card above is that what's in the bags is the entire Illuminati game (as represented by everything in all the cards from the game). The governments want that because if everyone is playing the game, their power is strengthened and entrenched. In other words, as long as everyone is playing the game, they stay in power.

I want to elaborate. I've no idea how much my opinion is shared on this matter. I don't really want to know because sometimes ignorance really is bliss. That said, I'm finally going to reveal how much I believe that the Bible is an accurate book in its history and prophecy.
As for the OP, You need no other book than the Bible. You will get an accurate sense of what's happened in the world, and what's to come. You wonder who the "they" are, or the "1%" people talk about. No one that's willing to can give you their names, or their identities. These people are beyond world governments and the laws of this world. Maybe the illuminati are the group. Maybe it's the masons. I don't know. I'm not brilliant enough to see through the masterful smokescreens that are thrown up.
But I do believe that all anyone has to do to get a sense of what is to come is pick up one book.
