Well think of it this way

A guy (remote) meets a good friend (envelope), they are very close,

Remote feels realy close to envelope, envelope tells remote theres something I need to tell you
" I am a woman, I always felt like I was a woman, but I was born a male. I'm still have male bits."
Remote still loves this woman knowing that the hole time it was a woman up to that moment.

Remote Still loves that woman. Remote will help Envelope all he can, so the woman he loves would be a woman.
[1]
People out side of that relationship would most likly only know that Remote was a male and Envelope was a Female.
I only know one gperson who went around telling everyone she still had male parts.

so any "label" would be done internaly in the relationship and that would most likely be
His and Her on the towels

sad part [1] does not always work that way though, to many times people turn into rage for finding something that should not matter if there is love.

Hell might soon freeze over before I ideniify that way, and it ain't getting no colder. I think that uh, I define myself as a lover freedom and equality and altruism for whatever that means and entails. My father sure thinks I'm liberal he calls me a lib all the time. I call him closed minded and dense

I don't think you're a bigot mate.

Preference is hard wired.
Can't force yourself to want something in the sexual department.

Can always count on Charlie to let ya know when and if you are a bigot or not, luffs ya brother

And I agree we cannot forcibly change our hard wire. Preferences, but even further because we have these hard wired preferences are we then subconsciously bias, and geared towards a certain oppression? Can we always be conscious that even though we have preferences that we are always making the clear and right choice regarding people we are inherently biased against? It matters to me because I want everyone to be treated equally, and to not have the destruction that my sisters psyche undoubtedly went through.

Bias is fine, we all have them. Oppression is wrong, this is where the difference lies, and haven't expressed this before, but I am sorry for you sister's troubles. We can be inherently biased, but not follow through on those, much like my example earlier.

I hate to be the one to explain to you, and I am sure others will join me, but most of us want freedom, equality, and accept altruism as our responsibility. Doesn't make you liberal, makes you a human being.

I'll take human any day over a label (lib con prog commie) or a direction (left centre right).

Personally I think that you might want to actually talk to, or look for pages, sites, forums, etc,. to find your answers, as this might not be the place, but there is plenty of people that are now opening up, and sharing there thoughts, and reactions to how it feels to be in the situation.

Of course you can lurk, and not sign up to anything, but the stories can come from people that KNOW the real deal.

"...less nosy, less dramatic, and can fix things that break..." LOL - I agree with that, and I too am a female who can fix things.

I've come to the conclusion LIBERAL is the "Catch All" bucket for anything and everything a Right Winger doesn't agree with.

Personally, I do not let a Right Winger (or anyone else) define for me - - - what I support/believe.

Nah. More like leftist, statist, fascist, progressive and socialist. Keeps our options open.

Yes sir, I was being somewhat satirical and playful. I agree on some issues like national defense I identify conservative and on social issues I identify liberal, and it has become a mixed bag as I've gotten older, 27 now. It's funny Winston church hill said something to the effect I as I don't have the exact quote on hand, because I am on a mobile,"if you are not liberal when your young you have no heart and and conservative when your old you have no wisdom" however for me the experience has been a growing one and open ended, having come from a fundelmentalist upbringing, and having what can only be described as a existential crisis while in the military, I have come to open my mind and question my motives at all times, with the goal of altruism in mind. Sometimes I fail but hey, anyway thank you for your kind replies.

As will I, I hate labels, and though I sometimes throw them. People I thought were asshats in the last election, I now agree with, its a little scary, but the presidential field for 2016, has seriously caused me to have to take a deep look at the politician that might win the nomination from the national parties. It is seriously time for a third party in America.

This is a very introspective and open minded thought process you have going. Well done, you! You just stated very clearly feelings that I think many of us share. I have trouble understanding the perspective of the all-or-nothing crowd. You do a nice job of highlighting some of the different opinions an individual can hold at the same time and reasons why these can co-exist. Thank you for your thoughts!

You don't have to want to sleep with a T girl or anything, but just know that we are here and there are and will continue to be thousands of us lurking in your Supermarket, neighborhoods, And schools. Also, gay guys don't like t girls Homosexuality is in a separate class of its own, but there ARE some bi-curious men who secretly want to hook up because of the girl's bit's, Whether or not you pass makes a lot of difference, I respect people who will give us a chance and allow themselves to open their minds.

If that is the case, and I don't wish to be divisive or cause inflammatory rhetoric; my question is if a man sleeps with a transgendered woman, pre OP does that make him gay, and after post OP does it make a difference? I'd really like to know your opinions.

Nope and nope. This is why you don't see gay men looking for transwomen.

I want to clarify that, actually: It doesn't normally mean they are gay. There are some "straight" men (who aren't as straight as they think) who may view pre-op transwomen as a way to explore sexuality with another penis without having to admit they are gay. You can tell who these men are because they are not interested in post-op transwomen.

But, bottom line, plenty of transwomen are happily married to straight men.

I'll let Princess answer this:

You are most certainly welcome, and thank you for yours.

I truly believe that if people honestly question their motives, and that others allowed people to blunder and to be wrong from compassion that the world would be a better place. I also believe it's achievable which is why I wanted to discuss this, and to explain myself to give perspective, because many have seen some of my post being highly conservative and sometimes I've been wrong, those post are forever etched into the internet and while they may not change, I am changing and growing and others should to. We are not cookie cutter people, we are human beings who make mistakes and altruism ought to be our highest priority.

I am very familiar with the Churchill quote, and a wee bit more than twice your age. I am also a veteran and had the fundi influence later in life, my crisis came in my adulthood, mid to late 30's, and I just thought there had to be a better answer. We all fail, all we can try to do, is better.

This very thread would go against any one calling you a bigot, which I may be guilty of in the past.

It is very cool you are willing to come out and just say that you have some questions and want that answered.
Bravo mate.
