I know that you are just as scared as me.
I know that you are just trying to figure out who you should be.

I know...

I know that you have no place to go.
I know that you're cold and all alone.

I know...

I know that this will probably just turn to dust.
I know it will rust just like the rest of us.

I know...

I know that you are just trying to stay afloat.
I know they said not to rock the boat.

I know...

I know that we have no idea why we're here.
I know that the wind still whispers in your ear.

I know...

I know that in time our lives will change.
I know that we are just a small stain on a bigger page.

I know...

I know we all die.
I know... but why?

I know it all seems silly now.
I know its superficial.

I know the song.
I know the dance.

I know the proper way to shake hands.
I know how but not why.

I know nothing.
I know that much at least.
