Trump is a master panderer. I wonder if he is going to send back the illegals that work as maids, busboys in his Casinos or on his other projects.

He is such a hypocrite and the American public is so gullible to think he can or will do anything the says.

americablog.com...

He handled that one FOX reporter well, that makes him a master debater too.

Illegal immigration appears to be the new normal but America is one of the few nations where this is the case. It's always interesting to see people from nations with much stricter legal immigration policies, much less illegal speaking out against America enforcing its immigration laws.

When you are at the top everyone wants to see you fall it seems and with the chamber of commerce not having to disclose where it gets its funding from you can bet it's flush with foreign cash. Not to mention the domestic globalists who don't care about the American people. Trump said it best. We either have a country or we don't have a country.

Trump is a sabotage agent.

He is send into the republican party with his racist talks, immigration and other republican pandering stuff to get them to misdirect from other republican candidates to vote for him.

Then he would get up and quit.

Democrat win and Trump gets his media attention.

Enforcing immigration laws is racist? If anything it's people who are against America enforcing its immigration laws because they are the same race as the illegals that are the real racists. America first, not race or former nationality. How would Mexicans or any other nationalty feel if Americans supported people breaking their law only on the basis they were Americans? It's all about respect and it can't be a one way street.

Speaking of respect who would you respect more? Someone who lets people walk all over them or someone who stands up for themselves? The Trump message is just as important as the plan and I believe him when he says he will win the Hispanic vote. People aren't unreasonable. English Americans fought against the English for independence, people of all colors fought to free the slaves and German Americans fought against the Germans in WW1 and WW2. If you show strength and demand respect you will get it. People of all backgrounds will want to fight for America and respect America if it shows it is here to stay and worth fighting for.

A lot of illegal immigrants don't walk across the border, they fly in. Or come by boat. Yesterday in south Florida, 25 people came ashore near Jupiter. It happens a lot more than you think. Building a wall is not going to keep people out. All the Mexicans would have to do is book a flight to Canada, then come across that way and it would probably cost less money than they pay a coyote to get them here. It might cut the number of people coming here, but it wont stop immigration. ALL anyone has to do to stop illegal immigration, is to fine employers so severely that they dont dare hire one. It would be cheaper than building a wall and it would generate revenue. It would stop overnight if we did this, and all parties know it. But they do nothing. All of this anti immigration talk is just BS to get votes from the xenophobes in this country. I guarantee you, if Trump gets elected, you wont hear a word about it shortly after. Illegal immigration is a cheap labor pipeline, and no one in power wants to cut off the supply of cheap labor, period.

Does the US-Canadian border get a wall too?
How about the west coast pacific ocean wall?
How about the east coast Atlantic ocean wall?

They might as well just come out and say it's "The Latino Immigration Reform".

Don't believe Canadians are crossing the border illegally. The Canadian government is very strict on visas. In fact if they don't return they lose all there benefits. As far as the rest you do realize there is two oceans called the Atlantic and Pacific no need to build a wall. Truly suggest you look at a map.

Your right don't think you could ever secure the border with a wall. The only true way is manpower and no one is willing to spend the money to do that. So this is just pandering. But I will say making it harder to cross just for security sake should probably be done. If only it increases our chances of catching people that truly wish to do harm. So there really is no right or wrong answer only how effective can we truly be. For the Canadian border Canada and the US rely on sensors and coperation. Don't think this can work with Mexico since they have no motivation to secure there northern border. But oddly very strict on there southern border to stop people from entering mexico.

If I could give you a Hundred stars I would.

This is the big elephant in everyone's livingroom. We know what needs to be done, but nobody wants to touch it.

It's a big can of worms.

Billions of dollars cross the border in goods and illegal drugs, no wall will get built, theres too much money to be made with how the border stands, rich people like trump use illegals as cheap labor, i can bet mo money that nothing will come out of this.

Or we could just end the drug war that corrupts their country and makes people want to come here illegally in the first place. There is no opportunity in a war zone for average José unless you want to become a drug mule and your family murdered if you don't follow orders.

Drug war started in 1971 and the cartels started importing drugs shortly after. www.google.com...

If you hear gunshots every single day and see mutilated people hanging off bridges or laying in the streets, would you let a wall stop you from giving your children a chance?

We have citizens who live in very dangerous neighborhoods where people live in fear for their lives every day. They can't afford to leave and especially not into another Country. I have worked with many illegals through the years and have yet to meet one who lived in a dangerous situation in their own Country. Not saying there aren't any, but those folks can seek asylum, not just waltz over illegally.

In honesty, since I support Trump, I do not agree with that wall business, purely upon the fact that we have no idea what advances in our technology will occur even 20 years from now. As such, it could become obsolete extremely quickly.

Like with all advances counters to those technologies are created as well. That's how the military operates. A country makes a better missile another makes a better way to block it. Of all the reasons to be against the wall this just doesn't make a lot of sense.

It's the incredible cost vs return on investment. Additionally, some real thought needs to be put on this as we have a lot of evidence of the ramifications that huge walls have produced on economies, and in some very recent history.

With the way things are going now, comparing Trump to Hitler
The wall sounds like an opposite approach to the nazi invasions.

At least he's consistent with his rhetoric.
