Are you truly "awake" if you still follow and talk politics?

Really wish there was a place for the waking people to hangout in person. ATS suffices for now, but the truth is better talked about in person. I used to have a couple friends who I could talk about this stuff, but they're drifting into the illusion of the "real world". Their "real world" guarantees two things: death and taxes. I want life and liberty.

In terms of keeping up with politics, I think for a waking person it is equivalent to a dog returning to its vomit. Even if we know its a charade, simply watching or listening to it pulls us back into the illusion.
