Two questions.

Question one: What year is it?

Question two: Why?

Question three: Would living in a different calendar make you feel any different to the one you're in now?

Okay that was three.

2015

Because that's what we all agree and follow.

Yes, I like other numbers more, for instance, 1999 was the best

1. Whatever year people choose to call it.

2. Language is an agreement of words and definitions between people for the purpose of communication.

3. Probably not. I don't think about the name of the year often.

It depends which calendar you are using Gregorian, Judaic or the Islamic one - could be more but I'm only aware of those three.

Well in Thailand the current year is 2558, and in China it is 4713.
Remember, not everyone uses the Western calender. Dates are pretty irrelevant when you look at it that way, it just depends on when people started counting.

The only use for 'dates' are for organising our lives, anything more special than that is just fantasy and imagination.

You might not. But you see it above every post, next to every email, every YouTube video, every newspaper article... You might not consciously think about it, but you can't escape it. It's everywhere you look.

Not just interpretation but inspiration... Just think about how wild numerology can get in the CT crowd...

BTW your signature: "You can have too much of me but still not have enough. What am I?"

Is it time?

Morpheus: You believe it's the year 2015 when in fact it's closer to 2199. I can't tell you exactly what year it is because we honestly don't know. There's nothing I can say that will explain it for you.

Changed a little bit to fit the topic but maybe????????

It wasn't an answer to question three, but you made it look as though it might be, so I wondered if you had misread. Do you want to answer questions three or not?
