I had just finished a 'disaster' novel when i thought i would check in with ATS! Admittedly I was a tad disconcerted to find it wouldn't load!!!!

Almost had me reaching for the tin foil. LOL

I didn't have a problem with ATS but the internet in general; I use wireless and it's been a pain for a few days now and I assumed that the two issues were related.

perhaps the NK or Chinese are subcontracting squads of hackers to attack secondary targets to hone their skills

military/defense/ electric grid/ nuclear reactors all those systems getting hacked at once with a organized hack attack would have similar results of an high altitude EMP.... disabling the various systems

I expect recurring incidents like today's DDos as the new Normal from here on out





I finally got my invite from Microsoft to download a 'free' Win-10', it would normally cost $119.oo
I looked at the 4 minute promo and it will require 3GB, but all it seems to do is operate as a really fast social media connection, think Win-8.1 on blink speed sharing and connections to several social media at once
I have no need for that kinda garbage....
... so, I don't imagine that internet hackers rerouted Win-10 requests for the program to ATS servers... as I think that only the 10-18 year olds would be interested in win-10 for both PCs or Wi-Fi devices

Yea I think the attacks started ramping up about 5 weeks ago. First noticed it when the Chinese markets were crashing on norse after that stock market "glitch" here. On ATT here it started getting wacky a week later. Been shoddy since.

I think the culprits are online retailers.

I mean, without ATS to go to I had to resort to online shopping.

Fortunately the stuff I wanted was WAY too expensive and I just managed to reign myself in.

So don't worry ATS, I thwarted them for you

good thing it's back up...I think it was the NK's or the Chinese, myself.....I almost had to go outside, breathe fresh air, and bask in quixotic splendor about my life....(shudder at the thought)

SO I am reading this thread and go to hit page 3 and my internet went out for a minute...talk about freaky timing...lol

But hey! we are back up now !!!!!! yay!!

I knew something was wrong, I was ready to run a diagnostic on my laptop, after coming from the Gym but, Alas ATS open the page the link with no problems.

I spend one hour getting an error internet page message.
