I have a friend that adopted 3 Asian children.
He actually had to mail order kids from the other side of the world because of our adoption system. Those rules should be changed.

Yes! Absolutely they should.

The restrictions on adopting a child in America do not help the child.

They've been promising more male contraceptive options for DECADES.

There's just not much money in it apparently. There's more money in pills for erectile dysfunction apparently.

When I was single, I would have felt a helluva lot safer knowing I was taking some kind of proactive measures to prevent pregnancy other than a stupid condom. Girls can lie about being on the pill, or don't take them at the same time, or take antibiotics that render them useless.

I would have felt a lot safer knowing *I* was doing something to prevent pregnancy that was in my control.

Men need more options than the condom.

Male contraceptives are LONG overdue. I know tons of guys that would line up for a yearly shot in the arm to prevent having to pay child support.

I can tell you why male birth control ain't gunna happen.

Actually, I was four months pregnant with my third before I realized it. It happens, being pregnant is real easy for some women, they hardly notice it.

That's why it should be a yearly, or bi-yearly shot. No pills, no muss, no fuss. Hell, even a Norplant type implant would be good. If the woman didn't believe you, you could let her feel the lump where it's implanted.

Maybe people need to understand the purpose of the sex act more fully to understand that if the act is committed the desired result is pregnancy...?...

Yup, that was dumb, I knew everything when I was in my teens.

How about people just stop having sex without a condom or birth control medicine if they don't want the risk of having a baby?

If a woman wants to poke around in herself with a bent rusty coat hanger, let her. If she wants to ingest some foreign mystery pill to hopefully abort, let her.

If you can't control your own body and actions, by showing some restaraint when you have no condoms, or no money to afford condoms, then sorry, but you get what you deserve.

Keep your # in your pants, problem solved.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS.
STOP LOOKING FOR A GOVERNMENT BAILOUT!

Darwin rules!

The people who refuse to keep it in their pants when they don't have a condom or birth control.

Well if the women are stupid enough to abort with coat hangers,
one less person that far down on the Darwinian chain.

Seriously, if you have no problem with babies dying,
why would you have a problem with women so stupid
they can't say no and have zero self control or any
willingness to take personal responsibility,
why would you have a problem with them taking
the Darwin leap?

Cold, yes, but if you love abortion,
you should have no problem with
self abortion through stupidity
that could end in the blob of
tissue formerly known as
ex-mom falling off the Darwinian cliff.
Whats the difference to the pro-abortion supporter,
one less person overpopulating the world?

Seriously, the pro-abortion people seem
to think that no one should take any responsibility for
their actions, and that everyone should be getting it on
like rabbits, because we can't expect any human
being to exercise any kind of self-control.
That's what I seem to hear the pro-abortion crowd say.
All people are so stupid they must have sex, it is
required to have sex with anyone and everyone
all the time, and no one should ever, ever, be
expected to exercise good judgement and use
a condom or keep their pants on, that is too much
to expect of any human being.

I know.

As much as men say they want this - - - many/most are not really willing to take the risk.

Present men with all the warnings and side effects of birth control - - - you get a Hell NO!

One of the main problems with the male contraceptive is that women know us too well to trust us!! :O

You had condoms.

Many men tell women it doesn't feel right to wear condoms.

Why should we provide that???

Why should WE proved YOU with Viagra?

No one's asking YOU to provide anything! It's YOU and your ilk that want to prevent women from accessing necessary health care!

You don't see women trying to bar soft men your erections, do you?

The law is a hypocrite and the abortion issue is the law's Achilles' heel.

What's your solution? Do you want to make abortion illegal?

Either make abortion illegal, or open the law up to a free for all where prostitution, drugs, suicide, etc are all legal rights. One or the other, so long as we're consistent.

I fail to see the link between abortion and those things, however, I don't have a problem with legalizing any of them.

It can't hurt to have more than ONE option available to men. Women have spermicides, diaphrams, IUDs, pills, implants, shots, nuvaring...

Men have: condom.

Or a vasectomy....I had mine at 20 yrs of age. I knew then that kids just simply didn't fit in to my lifestyle. I have never regretted not having kids!

I was wondering when someone would mention the "V" word!

I had mine after I had kids....I decided at some point that if I had any more kids "at that age" I would be far too old to be running around a playground with them!!

Unsurprisingly, the one state, Texas, that has cut off Planned Parenthood funding, found that patients were not able just to switch to community health centers. They may not have one in their community, the local one may not be able to take on more patients, or they may not be able to take off work that long.

Subsequently, nearly 20,000 women who used to get Planned Parenthood services just went without any care at all. The state saw an estimated 24,000 more unintended pregnancies in the first two years of the cuts.

Source

In the past two years, Texas legislators slashed funds for family planning and passed up $30 million a year in federal Medicaid money, largely to squeeze Planned Parenthood out of the state's women's health programs.

Last week, hundreds gathered at the south steps of the Texas State Capitol in Austin to protest the resulting public health mess: Researchers say nearly 200,000 Texas women have lost or could lose access to contraception, cancer screenings, and basic preventive care, especially in low-income, rural parts of the state.

Not BS. Truth. Texas policy fail.

They could try personal responsibility and birth control

Accidents happen of course.

But "unwanted" pregnancies is a very broad term

At some point people have to be accountable for their actions

Also. You can get an abortion in just about any major city here so

Not sure where their facts or proof is but pp is alive and well here and every highschool has sex Ed. And it's not abstinence only

Yea, well.....it is after all, the dailybeast. If you know what I mean.

But it's not so common to not know you're pregnant that we have an entire TV show devoted to women who didn't know.

Using that excuse is like hiding all the abortions of convenience behind the excuses of rape, medical necessity and incest which really make up about 5% of the abortions.
