I have a friend that adopted 3 Asian children.
He actually had to mail order kids from the other side of the world because of our adoption system. Those rules should be changed.

Men need more options than the condom.
Male contraceptives are LONG overdue. I know tons of guys that would line up for a yearly shot in the arm to prevent having to pay child support.

How about people just stop having sex without a condom or birth control medicine if they don't want the risk of having a baby?
If a woman wants to poke around in herself with a bent rusty coat hanger, let her. If she wants to ingest some foreign mystery pill to hopefully abort, let her.
If you can't control your own body and actions, by showing some restaraint when you have no condoms, or no money to afford condoms, then sorry, but you get what you deserve.
Keep your # in your pants, problem solved.
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS.
STOP LOOKING FOR A GOVERNMENT BAILOUT!

They've been promising more male contraceptive options for DECADES.
There's just not much money in it apparently. There's more money in pills for erectile dysfunction apparently.

I would have felt a lot safer knowing *I* was doing something to prevent pregnancy that was in my control.
Why should we provide that???

The law is a hypocrite and the abortion issue is the law's Achilles' heel.
What's your solution? Do you want to make abortion illegal?
Either make abortion illegal, or open the law up to a free for all where prostitution, drugs, suicide, etc are all legal rights. One or the other, so long as we're consistent.

It can't hurt to have more than ONE option available to men. Women have spermicides, diaphrams, IUDs, pills, implants, shots, nuvaring...

Unsurprisingly, the one state, Texas, that has cut off Planned Parenthood funding, found that patients were not able just to switch to community health centers. They may not have one in their community, the local one may not be able to take on more patients, or they may not be able to take off work that long.
Subsequently, nearly 20,000 women who used to get Planned Parenthood services just went without any care at all. The state saw an estimated 24,000 more unintended pregnancies in the first two years of the cuts.
In the past two years, Texas legislators slashed funds for family planning and passed up $30 million a year in federal Medicaid money, largely to squeeze Planned Parenthood out of the state's women's health programs.
Last week, hundreds gathered at the south steps of the Texas State Capitol in Austin to protest the resulting public health mess: Researchers say nearly 200,000 Texas women have lost or could lose access to contraception, cancer screenings, and basic preventive care, especially in low-income, rural parts of the state.

They could try personal responsibility and birth control
Accidents happen of course.
But "unwanted" pregnancies is a very broad term
At some point people have to be accountable for their actions
Also. You can get an abortion in just about any major city here so
Not sure where their facts or proof is but pp is alive and well here and every highschool has sex Ed. And it's not abstinence only

Actually, I was four months pregnant with my third before I realized it. It happens, being pregnant is real easy for some women, they hardly notice it.
