Yeah, it's strange that the OP's article didn't caption the image or link it to the PIA release that explain it. Here's more info about that asteroid, featuring the same image.

Well if it's a time lapsed picture of the same asteroid, than the OP is correct. It is the same exact size and shape and if taken in equal interludes would make it equally distanced apart.

The asteroid belt(s) are the coolest thing in our solar system. To be a fly on the wall when that was born.

So my eyes drift from my screen at work as i scroll through this feed..

I look back to my screen and nearly fly off my chair!

We don't even need to worry...NASA was able to zoom in on one of the timelapse images, and someone is already taking care of the threat.

Shoemaker-Levy was actually a broken up string of comets
& not an asteroid broken into 4 parts, seen in the Infrared

the same string or row of objects seems like a common thing to happen



after reading the OP link... I really think the reason for the thread was to suggest that the 4 'objects' were 4 spacecraft under intelligent control..... (the Hook, to lure in the suckers walking by to see-what-its-all-about) You Did Get Me to Enter the tent, good for you

I thought this was just alarmist bull crap... but after the mysterious asteroids buzzed Osaka and Milwaukee, I started to get suspicious...

at least next time when they try to analyze the word because it belongs to my culture, they shouldnt make it look like this mess "FROH-seh-nee", you should know its Ευφροσύνη one of the 3 charites (Efrosini, Thalia and Aglaia) daughters of Zeus... In most modern stories they call them as daughters of abominations like (dionisus), or other stories want them as daugets of Chaos (chaos and GA (gaia) is ours, its not related with abominations).

Ευφροσύνη is a 100% Hellenic name so any kind of manipulation make it look like "FROH-seh-nee" have no backgrounds, its like snake language. And its not even spellable by true human beings.

Funny? Not at all. Actually it was quite rude and obnoxious. I feel embarrassed for the poster who felt the need to correct someone in a condescending manner.

Correcting someone's mistakes is a good thing on ATS, we all learn from them, but doing so in a rude and obnoxious fashion is not classy at all. It is repulsive. The "my feces doesn't stink" mentality of some of you makes ATS unbearable.
