Bernie Sanders says that billionaires have “psychiatric issues.” He’s not entirely incorrect.

Yes, money can change people. Not everyone, but definitely some people.

It becomes literally like an addiction, a fix.

And it seems to be the addicts that are the ones running our countries these days...

We really are screwed.

Money really is the root of all evil

It turned a family member in to a sociopath , said family member is a banker.

Said person was raised middle class. So even if you are not born in to wealth you are still vulnerable to the sickness that comes with great wealth imo.

King Thorin in the Hobbit is a good example

Bernie is by far the most Intellectual amongst those Campaigning to fill the shoes of the Presidency.

Got my Bernie 2016 Bumper Sticker today in the mail, it was on my truck in minutes.

Bernie sanders and intellectual are not to be used in the same sentence. Bernie is a nutter, let loose upon the world. That said, I hope he wins the democrat nomination and I hope trump wins the republican nomination. There would be nothing more epic than the two of them debating which crazy person should be the president. I pray every day for this to happen.

he's not wrong. the obsessive accumulation of wealth, no matter the current fortune amassed, is to me a clear indicator of some kind of synaptic malfunction. it makes no sense yet consumes those afflicted to the point where nothing else matters. the end becomes the means in a feedback loop of blind greed psychosis. i hope if i ever become wealthy i don't fall victim to this malaise.

What the hell is this johnwick guy talking about? As an American living in Finland I can assure you Northern Europe is not "circling the drain". If I had a dollar for every Finnish woman I saw with a baby, toddler, and bun in the oven I'd be as rich as these guys the Bern is going after. I was joking with my (Finnish) husband the other day that it seems the Finns are concerned about some kind of impending apocalypse and are preparing to repopulate the Earth. Also they are really ramping up immigration to make sure the population is sustainable.

The healthcare is fantastic, as someone with a chronic incurable condition I would know. They have just as much "freedom" here as they do anywhere in the US. Yeah like everywhere that uses capitalism they have some debt, but no where near the cesspit of debt the good ole US of A carries. Plus unlike the US Finns enjoy the greatest educational system in the world. "Circling the drain" would be the US educational system. 1st in self esteem and 27th in math.

Go Bernie. I'm totally getting a bumper sticker when I come home later this month.

Money junkies - those who hoard wealth; the abjectly greedy - suffer the same, pathological sickness those who become addicted to drugs, alcohol, violence, murder, sexual violence et al. -- all denominations are afflicted with a neurological disorder which rewards compulsive behaviour with the release of pleasure-causing chemicals in the brain. In this state, there is no rational thought as to the destructive offshoots of their conduct; only the end to the means by which the dopamine and oxytocin release are arrived are considered.

The tragedy is, unlike the other exampled compulsive, inveterate behaviours, money addiction not only adversely affects the party in the throes of said sickness and those in immediate contact with them, but it can (and does) have gravely deleterious effects on entire nations. The travesty is, capitalism not only facilitates and fosters such societally malicious traits, but it lauds them too!

It must therefore be asked: How much is enough greed before it qualifies as a disorder -- a sickness that hamstrings our very species and its potential to progress?

Bernie appears to be EXACTLY what the nation called for. So much so, that I question the true motives of his presence. Perhaps a calming distraction in the midst of endless chaos and hardship. The nation, bleeding out. Being told everything's going to be okay, you're gonna make it...

Just when things couldn't get any worse, a presidential candidate comes out and tells things exactly how they really are. What's the catch?...

ANYONE who buys in to class warfare like Sanders has 'psychitric issues'.

That's the funny thing about 'sanity' it's a subjective term.

I agree..

Its called hoarding.

Anyone with a billion cats, is considered sick and needs help

anyone with a billion pieces of trash, is considered sick and needs help.

Anyone with a billion bugs is considered sick and needs help.

it is simple hoarding, its the same mental sickness, why dont we see they need help also?

How does it make sense for one person to hold frozen the productivity of half the world? It is hoarding they need to be helped.

Bull and crap.

So basically all our woes are because of them 'evil rich' people.

Which sounds like a mental illness to me.

Especially the people who created $$ in the first place, can pull it out of the behinds ANYTIME they want with it's FIAT money.

Right just pay no attention to the simple TRUTH of the last 50 YEARS about the 'war' on poverty.

Over $22 trillion spent with nothing to show for it other than trillions in debt, and never before in THIS nations history are there now MORE people broke,MORE dependent upon government for their existence than any other time in its history.

Banks aren' the ones screwing over people. The usually scapegoat. It's the PROGRESSIVES, aka SOCIALISTS delusions of grandeur of trying to make everyone alike as much as possible.

Which is impossible.

But they sure like to try don't they.

Them 'evil' rich people ad infinitum like a broken record.

It's them evil banks ad infinitum like a broken record.

Your great at making making blanket statements and missing the point arnt you?

Yes you know full well I think government programs have been a absolute failure.

Government and banks are just as screwed up as each other!

Dont you get it? Banks have brought the government and the government is part of the banks? They are interconnected in a web of corruption!

I know in your brain the Banks and banking family's are innocent little Angles but they are NOT. I would not be surprised if the whole war on poverty ect was some scam cooked up by them like the war on drugs, war in Iraq ect ect

Repeat after me C.R.O.N.Y C.A.P.I.T.L.I.S.M

As for all rich people? No I dont think they are all evil. In theory im in the 1% by my income and I know many many honest good rich people.

But there are some very very rich people out there (mainly very old and established banks) that are as black as black and they are playing the governments only to enrich themselves.

And this goes back beyond Obama or Bush, likley back to the late 1700's/early 1800's when the Rothschild bailed the UK out after its wars with France. Along with lending money to a fledgling USA and broken war torn Europe.

This goes beyond petty left/right partisan bull#. I dont care if a leader is left or right to be honest (though preferably right) as long as they are not a puppet of the banks.

But this will go over you head and you will carry on thinking the bank are little misunderstood angels. Cling on to your little partisan fantasys.

Great straw argument,

when did I blame rich people? What is rich? I think a person who is healthy and has a great family and is part of a great community is Rich.

You do know it has been proven in court than "money" does not exist..

So what is it that these so called
"rich" people you speak of are hoarding? its not money? it cant be, it doesn't legally exists.

It says "debt notes" right on it, what is debt? is it productivity of another?

Now if you are saying that you don't think holding the productivity of more than half the planet frozen is mental sickness then you first dont understand fractional reserve banking, and or, are just playing dumb. Both fully acceptable with me.

I guess you may be incapable of understanding, it does take some smarts.. in that case sorry if I came across smugly.
