This recycled argument has recently popped up in another thread and instead of derailing that topic, I figured it was best to make it a star of it's own thread alone.

This is the claim made by a ton of atheists individuals worldwide:
God doesnt exist and you are stupid for believing this stupid nonsense

So essentially atheists don't believe and actively propagate their faith in unbelief with a constant spiel of irrelevant same same threads..But obviously atheists dont know everything and may be wrong.
They are possibly walking into judgement add leading others into judgement as well

Funny how atheists christian and religious, non religious are all hateful

So atheists, what if you are wrong

Turn the tables, play your game, ask yourself the same question instead of your constant judgement you accuse others of

For realz...

I'd never have guessed that from the air of superiority that emits from their facial anus.

Thanks.

Edit: stop starring this post please religious folk, I was joking.
If it's atheists who took it well, carry on.

I'd say it is a calcualted risk any Atheist takes.

And an Atheist can easily turn that question back around on the believer;

Believers, what if you are wrong?

Live and let live, do so with humility and unselfishness is the answer to this question because we'll only find out for real when we die

Hey man thanks for trying to save our souls and all, but most atheist couldn't care less what religious people think.

But if the bible is right, then most human beings even religious ones are all going to hell.

You know what Mark

I am doing just that in this thread

Turning that question back on the believer who asked a question about belief in deity, an atheist who believes he is right and everyone else (who doesnt believe him) is wrong.

Thanks, I had an idea of that before but

I'd look God in the eye and ask what the need for all the hyperbole was.

Then I'd probably sit down with him/her/it and have a beer and a chat.

When you can explain to me the Scientific Concept of GOD, then perhaps I'll lend a ear.

Won't bother when we are still dancing around books written by man thousands of years ago.

It's always Jesus said this and Jesus said that... while Jesus himself wrote down nothing, all of his disciples..

Book of Peter, Book of John..

The guy, who's the main character of this book, didn't write #...

All the hang outs wrote it and each of them sound like they're closer to Jesus as if they were his daddy.

I might of taken some joke points from Eddie Griffin, but you get my point.

Yeah, Pascal's wager. *yawn*

Try some Bertrand Russell.

it is a most astonishing thing that people can believe that this world, with all the things that are in it, with all its defects, should be the best that omnipotence and omniscience have been able to produce in millions of years. I really cannot believe it.

www.goodreads.com...

He continues with:

Do you think that, if you were granted omnipotence and omniscience and millions of years in which to perfect your world, you could produce nothing better than [what we have now]?

Actually, I was joking...

And unlike many Christians and Atheists on ATS and in real life I've never once proselytised to others...
So no, no I don't.

I think the onus is on the religious crowd to prove that God does exist. Not the other way around.

I myself hope that there is a God. However I think Religions don't have a clue about God's true nature.

Not sure what I'd call myself.

It doesn't matter if I am wrong because there is no possible way for me to make myself believe in such things.

Fake it till you make it or believe the belief is just self-delusion and it doesn't work for any sane person.

So basically you're like a car insurance salesman?

"You may not get into a horrible car wreck, but what if you're wrong!? Best to throw away all that money just in case!"

But instead of money it's your soul that you're giving away.

If your main reason for believing is because of a fear of possible punishment then you're doing it wrong.
