Most terrible things said about Obama have all occurred for one reason, and no matter how much people deny it, that reason is RACISM.

No President before him has ever taken as much abuse as Obama. Most of the comments directed at him could be seen as treasonous, especially from those in the Armed Forces.

Obama has consistently taken the high road in the face of the most ridiculous criticism ever faced by a world leader.

Despite what the far right say about him, I would rank him among one of the best Presidents in history. The USA is better off in EVERY SINGLE ECONOMIC INDICATOR than before he took office. Every single one. He has consistently taken the high road in the face of vicious attacks that would have made a lesser man give up a long time before now.

It used to be that even if you didn't agree with a President's policies, you wouldn't openly criticize them. People disagreed with Reagan, Bush 1, Bush 2, and didn't go after them like they've gone after Obama.

However, the right wing also went after Bill Clinton in the most vicious ways. They claim to be Christians, but most of them are CINOs, they certainly don't behave in a Christian manner.

In medieval England, criticism of your leader would have given you a short trip to prison on treason charges. If you were nobility or a political leader, criticism of your leader would have gotten you beheaded.

I voted for Obama (the first time) because I believed the hype.

What do I see almost 8 years on? I see probably the most incompetent President to ever be elected. I see continuous lies and deceit. I see endless broken promises. I see the country no better off than when it was under Bush.

The economy is garbage (despite what the MSM liars want you to believe).
Unemployment is still incredibly high (despite what the MSM liars want you to believe).
We are still entangled in BS in the Middle East.
We are still being controlled by Israel.
We are being lied to, spied on, arrested for no reason, executed, etc etc etc.

The American political system is corrupt. So corrupt that I don't believe we as a people can EVER trust it again.

You people have a short term memory...Bush was hated on national news every day...he was hated on SNL every saturday. Local news had stories blaming bush every time gas went up a couple pennies, San Francisco tried to name their sewage plant after Bush, Cindy Sheehan camped out on the white house lawn in protest, as did others, code pink was protesting Bush on a weekly basis...people were burning effigies of Bush, calling him the antichrist, calling him a warmonger, a traitor, a lame duck president, and worse...It was everywhere and it was constant from the left.
As soon as Obama was elected Cindy Sheehan and Code Pink suddenly became pro-war, and any talk against the office of the president was met with disgust "how could you be so disrespectful towards the president!? you must be racist!"
And now that more and more people see Obama for the worthless golf slice he is, you are all wondering where the hate came from...

Actually now that I think of it, I've heard way worse things said about him. I've seen the worst of it on this site. I thought Facebook was bad, but some of the threads I see on this site are beyond the pale. I sometimes feel literally sick to my stomach with some of the things I see. So that tells me I need to stay away from the political threads on here. It's bad for my blood pressure.

Did I see people complain about Bush? Yeah, I did, but it never reached the appalling level it has with Obama. Many of you say your hatred of Obama has nothing to do with race. Yeah right. Keep telling yourself that bs. I think it's more than a coincidence that GW Bush is white and Obama is black/white.

The Secret Service has said there have been 50 times the threats against Obama as there have been for any other President. That is very telling to me. Something is very wrong here, and it makes me sad and very angry.

He certainly deserves a good measure of rage directed at him for stupid # like bailing out the banks and the car companies. But it seems that his detractors are more interested in believing and arguing pure B.S. If they actually stuck to rational arguments and facts from neutral, respectable sources, I'd take them more seriously.

As soon as I hear some idiot rambling on about Obama being a socialist America hating Muslim who secretly plans to fly the ISIS flag over Washington, I tend to file them and their arguments in the same pile as the fans of David Icke who believe Bush is really a blood sucking shapeshifting space lizard plotting with the Jews to eat our souls.
