He would only win against a establishment Republican. I believe he would lose to say Rand or Trump who are non establishment. Most Americans don't support socialism which would lead us into a crisis like Greece.

there is absolutely no way he'd lose to trump. Trump's main appeal is the fact that he says what he wants, Bernie also says what he wants, but he says it more reasonably. When you have the choice of a sane person who goes against the grain, and trump's version of going against the grain, the sane guy will win. calling people "losers" will only go so far.

There was also a Gallup poll that showed 47% of Americans would have no problem voting for a socialist. I think that number will increase when they compare Bernie to the other options. At least I hope it will.

Cmon surely you don't believe any of that? People are far too attached to their computers, television and Walmart for there to be any chance of a civil war starting. states vs states or groups of people vs other groups randomly scattered across the country? Civil war is impossible considering the intricacies of the modern day United States.

Bernie Sanders vs Donald Trump, or Rand Paul (preferabbly the latter, but I don't think he has a chance, so going with Trump).
Those are my ideal choices now.

But I think it'll be a Clinton vs Bush ticket.... In which case why bother voting.

Ive been watching facebook a lot, and the majority of Democrats are crucifying her, which is a great thing.

What we must watch out for is ELECTION VOTE FRAUD, which is a cancer on democracy.

Some posters have been trained to get the topic personal and heated. Especially when you make good debate points.

I will have to do some homework on Bernie before I go and jump for joy. But I still have an uneasy feeling, on where this country is heading, with or without Bernie.

Best thing that could happen to this country in a long time is if we get Bernie the nomination. I'm willing to jump off my right sailing ship to join his cause. The best way to keep bush or Clinton out is to form an alliance with the right guy no matter what party

It's a long long shot for Sanders, but he's no doubt already making Hillary nervous. She is the frontrunner, but perceived as establishment, so if the country really wants change, she will be in trouble. If I was a progressive in the US, I would not vote for Hillary if I could vote for Sanders.
