Tribute to Cecil, a good Long haired romantic free guy killed by the brutal law of the Market

Dear Readers,

Let me tell you the story of Cecil, a symbol of the great contradictions that emerge from the new values, goals and principles that right now rule the world under the brutal Law of the market characterized by the idea that everything has price, all is merchandise and so is reducible to competition to obtain it, a mentality imposed by the global economy.

Cecil was a really good long haired fellow, beloved by many and the national symbol of his country, he grew up healthy, strong and happily in the wildness, very far from the noise of the great cities, living in a commune. According with the people that really knew him along years he never made evil to anybody, but his dominant masculine presence, his nice long hair and fit body made him be called the King of Jungle.

Cecil was an entertainer, a performer of nice dramas and adventures, his natural talent was acting, he liked a lot to give good shows to whoever visited his territory, in particular to be photographed by the tourists.

Now, an elite sport that claims to be a archetype of civilization came over his land and unfortunately changed for ever Cecil's life, he was unfortunately targeted without no motif.

Although he was nicknamed King of Jungle, there were others who believing to be Kings of the Anarchic Jungle they themselves have created to predate economically others of their own specie, but moreover the only creatures that enjoy to kill just for pleasure and vanity, who took unfairly the life of Cecil.

Cecil was not only cowardly murdered, this happened after he was kidnapped and taken away from his natural reserve, separated of his family and when he was already painfully wounded , and all this for just a Hunting Trophy that was got cheating since even the hunter paid cash to receive assistance in his crime.

I forgot to tell you that Cecil was a Lion, not a hippy or a globalophobic, and his hunters were educated and good mannered humans and his murderer an American Dentist, a clean cut guy, that didn't have any need to travel thousands of kilometers just to end the life of Cecil.

Does that means any difference in all what happened to Cecil?

No, this is not a tale of Garcia-Marquez nor a Story written by Jose Zaramago neither a Isabel Allende's, is a real fact and has occurred this week in Zimbadwe.

Animals hunt for food. We hunt animals for food. Circle of life.

The line is crossed when we hunt for pleasure, whoever takes a live of another living creature for pleasure needs to take a good hard look at themselves. Simple as that.

Well,

The dentist has hurried to post how "sincere and deep is his regret" on the action, but the fact is that several crimes were committed in this illegal hunting of a well protected animal, and until the end it was clear that he was taking part of even a cover up of it, by trying to destroy evidence.

The animal had a GPS collar fitted for a research project by UK-based Oxford University that allowed authorities to track its movements. The hunters tried to destroy it, but failed, according to the ZCTF. They decapitated the lion to take possession of the Collar.

How can an activity that involves killing for pleasure can be called sport?

If you lived among them I'd bet you'd hate elephants too... Just imagine a 10 ton wood chuck eating you crops... And by crops I mean EVERYTHING and bulldozing everything else..... Elephants kill lots of people too, they are rather ornry in th wild.

I'm not saying I want to go kill an elephant, that's a weird one to me and Absent some sort of survival situation I prolly wouldn't kill one, BUT if I ran a farm in Africa, you bet can bet you bottom dollar if it's between an elephant and my families livelihood the elephants is going to be transplanted one way or another..

Should the people that live there be able to defend themselves against elephants? IMO yes.. We can't tell them what's righ from our nice deer filled woods lol.. We have very little idea what it's like to lose a child or a relative to a wild animal, that's daily life over there, so in the countries they don't have hunting and conservation animals get whiped out forests get burned and the land gets stripped, in the countries they have the hunting operations the populations thrive... Very paradoxical but the math doesn't lie.

We are living in a new world order THAT IS a terrible jungle created by uncontrolled human ambition.

These ARE the general ethical values of a moral illness that has become a pandemic of global proportions.

The same people that vehemently defend the killing and selling of our unborn children are suddenly sickened by the suffering of a Lion.

Everything is upside down and backwards. Good is evil, black is white.

And for the record, what happened to this lion was criminal.

Yes, the dentist can't deny that something was pretty abnormal or irregular in the whole hunting, after all a lion of such a size and age can't be lonely walking in a wild area waiting to be hunting for a person with a bow, that is a childish attitude, that is absolutely ridiculous.

An Animal like Cecil only could be a leader of a group, so the absence of the other animals was extremely suspicious. Now, whoever pays more than 50000 dollars for finding a prey to hunt is of course committing bribery to violate ecological regulations, is a person that is acting in a corrupt way since the beginning.

The decapitation of the Animal is a monstrosity and coming from a group that was paid by a Health professional is an action that deserve even the loss of his professional license, for the cruelty it represents, and the criminal acting on it, since it is clearly destruction of evidence to obstruct the justice.

The killing of Cecil is of course evil, but the cover-up operation after it is disgusting.

What kind of ethics is the one this dentist has? If I would be one if his patients never again let him even touch my mouth.

Now is that we can realize why there is foreign people that are lacking of confidence in Americans, adventurers like this guy are the ones that discredit America in other countries, by acting absolutely out of the law and also showing no respect for other nations sovereignty and regulations.

Walter Palmer must be extradited to Zimbabwe as soon as possible in order to heal this so grave incident, and restore the good image of the country.

Dr Palmer represents the health professionals that complain a lot against the socialization of the medicine in America, that are against the Obama care or Medicare in general, but as soon as they can, they don't hesitate into spend excess of utilities in evil hobbies. They are in pain to be forced to work cheaper, but not to go and commit crimes abroad.

They say can't work with social sense, while there are millions of people in this country lacking of the services of an affordable good dentist, but look in what they are using the money they charge to their patients?.

Well Hunting as sport is indeed an aberration of what must be such a kind of discipline. A sport can't harm anybody, it is absolutely perverted to think that the animals that are hunted are getting something positive of to be predated by humans.

Now, predation that is motivated either by money or pleasure is definitively evil, is to try to justify the act of killing when the victim has not done nothing to deserve death.

Somebody came here and said that animals sometimes bother and even destroy the work of peasants, but in this case Cecil was not the traspasser, he never went outside the national park for his own will, he was kidnapped and moved away from the area he was well protected.

One good question here is how these hunters could enter to the national wild life reserve and hunt a lion in the way they did without never been detected by the guards, there must be some complicity somewhere, some huge negligence or somebody inside the park that possibly received part of the 50000 dollars the life of Cecil was priced.

All the people in America that respect and love wild life must express their rejection to this horrendus case of violation of Animals life, this is clearly abuse of other forms of life, This Dentist even had precedents that he was also involved in another case in America that costed the life of a bear.
