In deference to nwtrucker's wonderful thread, and the fact that I agree with him on everything - no, just kidding heh heh! - I thought I'd create this thread.

Donald Trump has been making a total ass of himself and the Republican Party, running around making ridiculous remarks, and threatening to run as an independent to take the few votes left who would vote republican.

And now some republican congressman from South Carolina is trying to oust John Boehner from his speaker of the house post. Such shenanigans!

Scott Walker is in hot water in Wisconsin for illegally gerrymandering voting districts and some other things.

The republicans are really getting negative attention. Not good for the gop overall.

They are running themselves right into the ground.

Let's fast forward 1 year from now when we got 4 months still to vote on the 2016 election?

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS THREAD?

The only Republican I like is Carly Fiorina. She's not a career politician but she handles herself with much more intelligence and class than the only other non-career politician, Trump. I don't know why she isn't higher in the polls except that she came into it with very little name recognition. Even if you don't agree with her, if you watch her speak, her intelligence and class are very evident.

Yeah, I've seen her on Bill Maher's Real Time show. She does come off as very intelligent. She mentioned on the show that she was planning on running for president. If the Republican Party is going to be relevant, there need to be more like her.

84 yrs and 4 months from now both parties will still be, for the most part, filled with corrupt scum.

Are we taking a timeout from the fact that the two-party system isn't controlled by the American people, but by corporations?

I'm just genuinely interested in how Hillary will avoid prison in the near future.

She has dirt on everyone. Hillary will never see the inside of a courtroom, much less a prison cell.

Thank you for your kind words...

In part I can agree with your overall assessment. If one adds in the Democrats in the mix one can only assume neither party wants the job!

I take the shots at Walker as a compliment, after a fashion. I'm betting it won't work this time. The Dems basically wiped out Perry with the same tactic. I highly doubt it will work twice. A little desperate, as well. In Texas, it was a Democrat Prosecutor, now it's merely a 'suit'.

Bottom line? It's still a horse race...between a nag named "Alpo" and a Swayback named "Glue".

Trump is going nuts!

Donald Trump Would Consider Tapping Sarah Palin For Future Trump Administration

Yesterday, Donald Trump appeared on “The Palin Update,” a show dedicated to all things Palin. After Trump hailed Palin as a “tough and smart” leader who bravely stood up to “disgusting lies,” host Kevin Scholla asked the GOP presidential candidate, “If there is a Trump administration, could you see picking up the phone, giving the governor a call and picking her brain on some things, or perhaps having her along in some official capacity.”

“I’d love that,” Trump replied. “Because she really is somebody who knows what’s happening and she’s a special person, she’s really a special person and I think people know that.”

Compared to the glorious seven years Mr. Obama has given us , the last week doesn't look that bad.

A lot of infighting lately with the GOP, especially Cruz, McConnell and a few others.

Doesn't look good at all in the GOP camp.

The Tea Party candidates and other extremists voted in to congress are not playing ball, as is expected.

I swear I would pay big bucks to witness a one-on-one debate between her and Hillary. Carly would eat her lunch!!
