Have you met a C list celebrity?

Do you have a weak story about a semi famous person you have encountered that would not stand up to normal conversation?

If so share it here and do not feel the need for it to be justified, most of us has a story like this I think we should be able to share them without feeling stupid afterwards.

I live in the UK so most of these will fly straight over most peoples heads but there supposed to be rubbish anyway.

I met Kieth Chegwin at the Reading festival years ago, he was busy at the time.

I once rang John Noakes from a call centre and he told me to Fdds off

I saw a man fight a dog that was once owned by Noel Gallegher from Oasis.

Can you beat this level of not that impressive? the challenge is set forth.

Served Pete Rose in a restaurant, complete ass, loud, obnoxious, full of himself and a 10% tipper.

Sammy Sosa at a birthday party I worked in a very upscale restaurant (during the home run race with Mark Mcgwire) sneered at fans and had his bodyguard make sure no fan got close to him.
Mcgwire on the other hand was friendly outgoing and signing autographs for kids.

Johnny Bench is also a loud obnoxious ass.

Dr. Henry Heimlich (inventor of the Heimlich maneuver ) is better than you and you are lucky to be breathing the same air as him and he will make sure you know it.

a reply to: nonspecific I knew Rick James as a teenager (he is from the city I live in), my best friend and I were sometimes in his entourage. I met Kevin Dubrow of Quiet Riot, Chaka Khan, Meatloaf, The Goo Goo Dolls (they are from the city I live in), the bass player for the band Ready For the world. I met and was email pals with Jack Stauffer, he was Bojay on Battlestar Galactica. I have met and had conversations with all of the main cast of Star Trek:TOS- having worked at conventions- have had drinks with Jimmy Doohan (may he RIP), George Takei had my daughter ride on his shoulders when she was almost 2. I have met and am Facebook friends (meaning we occasionally talk) with the romance author Linda Curnyn. I would not call then all 'crap celebrities', but most are minor.
Armin Shimerman- Quark on Deep Space 9 came out to karaoke with myself and friends after a convention.

IDK if you'd call Ernst Zundel a celebrity, some might, you wouldn't believe the amount of mail he got. He was housed in the jail I was working in at the time. A tiny, insignificant man.

Ohh that sounds interesting although a little macabre.

A very good friend of mine used to look after a "famous" serial killer in the UK in a mental institution.

He was a barrel of laughs after a 12 hour shift.

Being a SAG/AFTRA actor for a number of Years, I have met many movie stars and directors but my favorites are
Renee Zellweger, Directors Frank Miller and Sam Peckinpaugh RIP. They were friendly and ate with the crew and background extras. Jeff Bridges was very nice as well.

And poet Allen Ginsburg RIP

Terry Funk is a true ledgend! sitting atop Luger is also an acheivement!

This reminds me of my dad meeting Giant Haystacks an English wrestler in the local pub in the early 80's.

He said he was going to come and get me but forgot, if you dont know who he is this is him, I think this stays on topic?

"Martin Austin Ruane (10 October 1946 – 29 November 1998)[4] was an English professional wrestler. Best known by the ring name Giant Haystacks, he wrestled all over the world. Ruane was known for his massive physical size, billed as standing 6 ft 11 in (2.11 m) tall[5] and weighing 48 stone 13 lb (685 lb; 311 kg) at his heaviest"
