Could 'leaked UFO photos taken from US submarine in 1971' prove existence of aliens?

This bothers me. So a "specialist" in researching UFOs (unidentified by definition), looks at some photos, and "believes" (very scientific) it is "evidence" of "secret US aircraft", or "alien lifeforms". What possible reason could someone have to justify jumping to the conclusion that the photographic anomalies are "alien lifeforms"?

The immediate jump into brash speculation is damaging to this area of research.

I also think there is no reason to refer to aliens.....it's an interesting photo that I think is genuine, but it just simply is an Unidentified Flying Object, objeto volador no identificado.....un OVNI.
