Did Anonymous Predict NYSE trading Halt?

Very odd that Anonymous made this curious tweet 12 hours before the NYSE mysteriously halted trading.
Coincidence? ....or something else, entirely? What say you ATS?
At last check NYSE was still closed to trading.

The international hacktivist group Anonymous sent a curious tweet yesterday at 11:45 p.m. ET in which it wondered aloud if there'd be a disruption today on Wall Street. Twelve hours later, trading on the New York Stock Exchange was abruptly halted.

The US Department of Homeland Security and the US Securities and Exchange Commission released statements indicating the disruption was the result of a computer glitch and not an act of terrorism. The NYSE also says the stoppage was due to an internal glitch and not a coordinated cyberattack.

Just a few hours before the NYSE stoppage, United Airlines suffered a computer-related system shutdown, causing a nationwide groundstop. The Wall Street Journal also was inaccessible for a brief period.

The beginning of a cyber war ? I doubt it was Anon . Possible mistake like a few years ago when one of the traders accidentally sold millions in stock ? Too many questions.

As much as I doubt it was ANON... this is definitely intriguing! What are the odds of a random tweet like that only hours before??

If this were a hacker attack and it made headlines, it could cause havoc on the markets.

The ANON tweet certainly makes this suspicious to me.

Probably in reference to the China ,Puerto Rico and Greek debacles.

Plus its not their style, they typically use DDoS attacks against non critical public websites.

Very interesting will be nice to see how this developes. The tweet is almost as if they are claiming reaponsibilty but before it happens, but they are saying it a way that makes it sound as if it was just a lucky call .. Very sneaky lol

I honestly think ANON is used as an excuse more than they actually do hack. I think Governments use ANON as a crutch to blame their attacks on someone and I think ANON is all to happy to receive the credit. I don't believe ANON is as powerful as people make them out to be.

For all I know Anon is controlled by government in a form of controlled opposition. This is all a big mind game.

Of course Wall St, United, etc. will all say it's a "glitch".. Glitch my *ss... If someone predicts this the day before, I'm not going to call out coincidence. I think there could be something here, unless it's proven this tweet time stamps were altered in some way... Is that possible to do on Twitter?

The number one reason this is not likely a ANON hack:
1. The MSM and the Gov't haven't tried to spin this into a Anon Hack internet doom porn scenario in order to try to pass internet regulations.

Which leaves much scarier options...if it were Anon you are right surely they would already be spinning this to make more net laws. However, maybe they would not - because if they admitted hackers took down the NYSE it would do FAR more damage than the good more net laws would do.

Think of it that way, or think Anonymous simplu may have knowledge we do not. Just because Anonymous predicted it does not mean they caused it. They might simply have gotten word of a massive Chinese hack for example..
And Anonymous did predict this. Greece and China situations have been developing for weeks and spiraling out of control since Monday. A tweet this on Tues night just 12 hours before?

In this case I think Anon made a vague comment about something that many were speculating on how it would effect Wall Street on Monday.

Heck ATS members where asking the same question of how wall street would react the coming Monday as well.

I'm not saying the official reason is valid, but I don't think the Anon tweet was anything that anyone wasn't speculating on?
