Until now, some influential governments – in particular the USA, UK and Canada – have blocked moves which could press Israel and Palestine to take action. But today these states have the power to help ensure the Israeli and Palestinian authorities:

1. Genuinely investigate war crimes and other serious violations of international law
2. Prosecute those responsible in fair trials
3. Co-operate with the International Criminal Court.

Netanyahu advised his allies to vote for a UN resolution 2 days ago to the surprise of his allies...

Little did he mention he didn't want a more revised version of the resolution to hit the table.

All but the U.S. obliged his request.

UK, France, Germany etc
All political bitches to a war criminal.

A UK source even said "we were surprised, but we accepted his request"...

How is that not illegal, asking and getting what should be the sole decision of a completely different nation????

It passed 41-1-5
41 for, U.S. against, 5 abstained.

You will be told that Israel has the right to defend itself, but its responses are never proportionate no matter how much people try and spin it.

Gaza is Israel's personal hunting ground to test all the new weapons Uncle Sam gives them via the American tax payer. That's right USA, you have Palestinian blood on your hands.

Unfortunately I do not think any of these countries care about the peace process and they will never fully hold Israel responsible for its crimes.

Canada is the worse, Stephen Harper has his head so far up Bibi's ass that the Prime Minister's Office will do everything in their power to make sure that Israel is not held accountable.

If you demand accountability for Israel's crimes that makes you an anti-semite now days it seems.

If it's anti-Semitic to hate the guts of Israel's rabid, warmonger politicians & IDF, and to despise their disproportionate assaults on women and children...

I'm an anti-Semite.

True:

Britain voted in favour of a UN resolution based on a report that condemned Israel’s actions in last summer’s Gaza war and accused it of war crimes – at the request of Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli prime minister’s office rang David Cameron on Friday morning asking him to change his plan to support Israel’s public stance on the resolution because it represented a considerably watered-down version of an earlier one, the JC understands.

Mr Cameron’s initial reaction was that it would be “pure madness”, particularly as he had made several statements voicing support for Israel recently.

results:

The main problem maintains. Dozens of resolutions condemning Israel, but nothing happens. And yet we have US supporting this shameless hypocrisy.

True.

WHITE PHOSPHORUS -The effects of airburst WP munitions in urban environments

During and in the aftermath of the Israeli attack on Gaza of December 2008–January 2009, known as “Operation Cast Lead,” news reports have repeatedly shown images of a hitherto little known type of weapon.

These images displayed airborne explosions releasing tentacles of smoking fragments onto densely inhabited parts of the Gaza strip.

Alongside other images of the large-scale destruction of buildings and infrastructure, representations of these airbursts were some of the defining images of “Cast Lead.”

Human rights groups have launched a new interactive platform mapping Israeli attacks during the 2014 Gaza war. It includes satellite images, testimonies and footage tho “build an accurate picture of what actually happened” over the 50 days of war.

The online tool mapping Israeli attacks during the conflict in July and August 2014 is called ‘The Gaza Platform’. It was launched by Amnesty International and Forensic Architecture on Wednesday.

I see some valid points, but no mention of:

1. Hamas - In the above clip Hamas does not exists. Nor the hundreds of rockets lunched from Gaza towards Israel in the months upcoming the war. Not to mention, the ignorance of requests for a cease-fire (made by Israel and the international community), the conditions for which were, basically, "Stop firing rockets".

2. Alternatives - So, the clip explains what not to do: bombing civilian populated areas, targeting ambulances etc. What about an alternative? How should you fight an enemy that uses ambulances to transport combatants, builds his headquarters under schools and stockpiles his munitions in hospitals? All this while provoking you by lunching hundreds of rockets towards your civilians.

3. Unprecedented restraint - By looking at the dead count, it is obvious it wasn't enough, but I think it is undeniable that this was first time a military force gave so many warnings (leaflets, messages daily via local television and radio, phone calls, knock on the roof etc.) in one conflict. This sets an almost inapplicable standard for other armies.

If the sole purpose of this is to show that war crimes were committed, then I agree.
War crimes were committed by both sides. It is really hard to find a war without war crimes. Impossible, IMO.
As for "Justice for victims of war crimes", I think they should get it.
But not only from Israel - Palestinians tortured, summarily killed by Hamas forces

They are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. The post right there its only a tiny part of the madness going around those people ruling Israel.

Shocking words of Israeli leaders read aloud in Irish parliament, it gets very PG 18, after 03:00 minute mark:

LoL, you know man 2 is bigger than 1.
A lot of people are besieged in a tiny place and the most advanced military of the world drops its latest and usually banned weapons on them !
I wonder what is going on in the mind of Israel and Saudi rulers ! Do they want to break the record of geocide !!
However if we look at history specially the recent history of humanity we see that this is not as odd.
May God save us and corrupted powers get eradicated and righteousness emerges.

Exactly what "banned" weapons would they be?

Funny how you ignore the real cause of the problem - Hamas constantly launching rockets at Israel!
