So when your mockery only focuses on one place it's more than mockery, closer to hate.

Nope, people dogpile on Americans because they are the ones who gets the most butthurt when you make fun of them.

Basically they are the easiest to troll because they are so full of themselves. (disclaimer: this is obviously a generalization based on the American idiots posting on facebook and twitter and not the fine individuals posting on ATS. Don't take personal offense thank you)

And yet, here you are, trolling on ATS.

Makes sense.

I admit that contrarily to what you claim most people (including me) on the net don't hate Americans.

I don't see what I've done in this thread that would be considered as trolling.

Most people consider it a desirable trait to be able to laugh about yourself, and an undesirable one to have an inflated sense of worth.

That could explain why some people in the US feel like everyone hates the US.

Nice job turning it back on Americans.

You said not to confuse mockery with hate.

Then talked about how and why it's easy to troll Americans, and then posted memes for no real purpose other than to mock Americans.

Smells like trolling to me.

Ah well. Whatever makes ya feel better.

All I can see is that you are one of those who can't stop being serious about his country.

Hopefully not all Americans are like that since I have met many who can also have a bit of fun about how ridiculous America and Americans can be sometimes...

You should try it too, it's good and healthy and brings people together instead of dividing them.

We should empower the idiots by retweeting and drawing attention to it.

If I hadn't have clicked on this thread, I would never thought of connecting Pearl Harbor with this sporting event, where we played one of our allies.

I wonder what the person tweeted when the Japanese women won over USA in 2011.

The only reason I watched was to see Alex Morgan.
She is hot and I am a pig.
Check:

Yep, that's painted on....

Soccer fans have always been stupid. The worst part is that the US women won against the world and the US is the only country that could care less about the sport. It's a strange irony.

Soccer, the sport where people can send an hour just kicking the ball up and down the field. Hard to believe anyone cares much about it.

I've lived in germany for about 10 months with 3 more years to go.

Every time I'm at a local store I get attitude till I start speaking German usually leading off with an apology for not speaking it well... Then their entire attitude changes to a very friendly... Same happened in France.

Like I've said in other threads, every beef people have with Americans can be found in every country.

Accept Ireland every chat I had with a local was a blast...

I've been in germany, England,Ireland,France so far next few trips I hope to hit eastern Europe, I purposely plan to avoid tourist areas if at all possible.

Good for you!

One of my cousins was stationed in Germany and left base exactly two times. I was mind blown by that.

Sounds like you're doing it right though, so good on ya.

Two massive bombs wasn't enough I guess, but soccer... that'll show'em! For whatever it's worth, eight thousand retweets isn't terribly much and it came at the end of a long weekend of patriotism and partying.
