I've just google for information about militias. I was shocked to find that many states have organized militias (not the National Guard). FYI

I don't think the FBI would call individual militia members but would go through their command authority. If any member of the militia would be used they should be under orders for liability reasons. They should be briefed as to their authority and rules of engagement.

c'mon...geez, just keep your eyes open, if someone looks off or suspicious, call in an anonymous tip...I tell my wife every year that it would be the perfect time....one of those a****holes could get away with a lot of fireworks of his own design... my whole neighborhood looks like they are competing in a who-can-create-the-biggest-show contest

Considering most "militias" are a small group of guys who get together bitch about the government then get drunk and shoot guns, I do not think the FBI would waste anytime with them. Militias as a whole are mostly harmless, what the FBI watches them for is the lone wolfs who get inspired and go off and actually do something crazy. Also it seems militias are really into this fantasy they are going ride off and save the day. They are always making claims they are mobilizing and off fighting some threat. When in truth the big mission the night is who is going to go grab more beer from the quick mart.

This is a Jade Helm excercise, meant to promote response, especially like this thread.
