This was an informational thread on my part, please take it as that. Our rights are being trampled on, Amazon CS told me personally that the government requested the ban, I have also seen many others post the same. I went back today to the chat/help and asked the question again and I got a PR style statement about it being private info on Amazons part.

They still sell them, did you read all 4 lines of the thread? It's about Government Censorship and Amazon deceiving the public.

LOL just not for racists in in America.

I think its a good move we are getting closer to a full on ban.

I think it should be outlawed as it is an offencive reminder of modern day racism.
Yes, let's just throw away that pesky First Amendment and make speech that offends some people illegal!

I'm not doubting you, but if the government actually requested that, it is a sad day in America.

But, a request is better than a demand, I guess (depending on what "or else" is attached.)

Don't worry, as an American you can still buy the N Korean flag and the WW2 Japanese flag. Those don't offend anyone...

A T-shirt maker could probably make a killing right now printing a big ole Rebel flag on a boat load of shirts.

Then have a Rebel Flag Day where we all wear one to protest Government overstep.

I'd like to see them try to ban an individual business from doing so.

Edited to add: I bet a lot of blacks would join hands.

You have to look past race on this, the Government's interference with freedom of speech is a big problem, If you don't see that then I don't know what to tell you.

What's next are they going to "strongly suggest" that conspiracy sites should be banned (what country is doing that right now, if you don't know you need to research it).

Another bad thing is that Amazon is trying to look like one of the good guys by saying they banned it, but you can still buy it from Amazon in other countries.

Many people are stuck on the issue.

They call for a ban, but don't realize the next ban could be on them !!!!

At the same, this whole Confederate Flag thing has unleashed a fury.

It's the world liberals want. If they don't like something, it gets banned... or bullied, or harassed... until it goes away. All in the name of tolerance and acceptance.

HEY - it was a 'business' PR decision nothing banned by any government or law.
