I don't know if I should worry, but, I never would have guessed they would actually tell us. Reality is stranger than fiction. You know they are telling us something when they make major motion pictures depicting black presidents in office during an ELE. Something's not passing the smell test. There is no doomsday asteroid coming our way. Nasa working with the US government is simply prevention:

Even if it was real, there's nothing we could do to avoid it.... let's enjoy every day, eh?

Doesn't this just beat everything! I'm retired now and live in a state with legal weed. And now an asteroid it going to come along and spoil it all.
But on a positive note, I can quit worrying about the financial collapse, the imminent next great depression, oh maybe they mean the big depression the Super Asteroid is going to make. I can also quit worrying about whether or not I'll outlive my retirement money. Or if the next superbug is going to wipe us all out. Really this is strangely comforting, I can focus on just on one big Doomsday scenario.

I wonder if the underground bunker we built for the end of the world in 2012 will be good enough for this.

There is a YouTube channel all about how so many movies pull out September 23 (or 23) and reference either end of times or world changing events or paradisiacal things with it. This goes back as far as movies in the '80s. There are other videos there, but for an industry of supposedly random dates, that one gets used A LOT.

Just search ReneeM. Warning, she's Biblically oriented if you find it offensive, but if you look at her videos, she has an extensive list of movies, commercials, etc., all of pop culture really, where she has picked it out.

It looks good to me, w8tn.. bumped for content and intent.

These guys still haven't got it: with even dedicated birds packing
optical sensors or seemingly anything else. Something in that mess
up there other than our big belt could be playing nine ball with Earth--
and nobody will be the wiser until impact T minus 36 hours anyway.

Kind of sad about the prediction isn't it... meaning I'd trust what

But I like to read all kind of stuff because, at the end of the day, I make up my own mind about things.... based on which evidence seems more plausible.

As to the article, it is like life imitating art. Did we not have a movie similar to what they are proposing? I do hope Bruce Willis will be signing up to save us from the evil asteroid.

NASA Working With National Nuclear Security Administration On Plan To Use Nukes On Doomsday Asteroid

If NASA has its way, the human race won't be going the way of the dinosaurs any time soon.

The space agency is teaming up with the National Nuclear Security Administration to work on a planetary defense plan to deflect a potential doomsday asteroid so it doesn't strike Earth, according to The New York Times.

Last week's announcement came ahead of the first official "Asteroid Day" on June 30, a day scientists hope will raise awareness of the threat posed by near-Earth objects and encourage governments to develop a better plan to detect and track them.

June 30 is the anniversary of the 1908 impact of an asteroid in Siberia that wiped out some 800 square miles of forest. The surprise impact of the 2013 Chelyabinsk meteor, which caused a 500-kiloton airburst over Russia, shows potentially threatening space rocks are still out there.

You mentioned how you have made up your mind? What? ....... You mean like those who thought the earth was flat?

I would caution you in making statements like this .... new information is being provided almost every day.

Most Christians have NOT read the entire bible and I would bet two thirds of those who did read it, misinterpreted its meaning just like those who claim the bible is full of errors which is not true but deceptive due to their own agenda.

If someone asked you to write a summary of the complete Old and New Testament and you had to tie them both (OT and NT Testaments) into ONE Testament into five hundred word summary or less just what would write and could you do it?

Why is the Old Testament still just as important as the New Testament is today?

WHAT ties them together?

If you know the answer it is because it was revealed to you......

The thing I find fascinating about the September pattern is that it's almost as pervasive as the December 2012 phenomena was in its own way. Everyone knows about 2012 because the mainstream media latched on to it, but I've been watching this September thing build up for two or three years now in both secular circles and the religious ones.

The really interesting thing was that I didn't realize just how pervasive it was until my husband, who doesn't really pay attention to these things like I do, justified pulling a small portion of his retirement savings in part by saying that "... all the financial advisors are saying it's all going to crash in September anyway, and if that's true, we might as well get a little use out of it." He was being a bit light-hearted, but it's out there like that, so much so, that even he picked up on it, maybe without even realizing.
