Weeeellll....staff overhearing conversations doesn't make them prominent...just nosey.

Hands up how many Americans have ever heard of this guy before today...honestly now...show of hands please folks.

I'm willing to bet this guy was SO prominent nobody here has ever heard his name before now.

Is he a well known celebrity.....No. But you said he is not prominent.....Right. And you also made the point that being staff is no big deal....Right. You are wrong on both assumptions. Also listening is part of the job you need to know when to serve the client. So ya you hear stuff. Look at bartenders and all the stories they have for some added context.

Prominent does not equal celebrity........You can be very prominent in a field and no one outside of that field will know your name.

Because that doesn't support the attempted dog whistle of "Hillary had him silenced about her e-mails, Benghazi, Monica, 9/11, watergate, the moon landing, and the kennedy assassination"

Simple.

Bush has already been exposed.

Hillary holds the secrets that could destroy her.

Remind me never to work for the Clintons. . . .

Or the Bushs for that matter..........Both of these families make me sick to my stomach......
. Why people vote for them and idolize them is beyond comprehension.

Not sure why he would get a pass, but Hillary personally picked this guy as the chef.....he just happened to stay on with the Bush family.

The answer that I came up with is that Hillary is running for office.
If Laura Bush was running for POTUS, then he might have had something to say that could wreck her candidacy. But she isn't, so that leaves Hillary.

And Jeb running doesn't count how?

I mean I get you are going with the husband wife angle but I think that is to narrow.

This guy spent 5 years with both admins, if he could be damaging to one, why not the other?

And I bet bush had the chance to replace him once he took office but chose not to.

Instead he kept him around for a majority of his tenure.

I do get the link to hill dog, she has a shady past.

Just think ole georgies can be just as shady.

Typical response.
God forbid you back up your own claim, just answer a question with a question.

With respect to his family and friends...he wasn't particularly prominent at all...he was a WH cook.

There are many, many other WH staff that you or I will never hear of, unless of course they happen to die whilst hiking and their body isn't discovered for over a week afterwards.

not prominent, but.....if you can somehow link them to the Clintons.....then of course, it's a murder....

It's funny that you mention Water Gate....

How many people wonder why 'Gate' is attached to every conspiracy? "Climategate", "Bill Gate" "Bill Gates"....Do these so called 'investigative reporters" know where the term came from?

Watergate was a location and it was the amateur Jounalists that affixed the word "gate" and that's where the fixation became synonymous with conspiracies. The quicker we lose the Gate, the better.

So how does a man-who didn't appear to be equipped for more than a day trip- go missing for 9 days before his body was found? for a person of his prominence you'd think the search would've found him much earlier and they should have found him much earlier.

A better question, is it really that common or a good idea for a 61 year old to go hiking ALONE in Arizona, in the summer? I smell a rat.... I also didn't see any stories mention (or even speculate) WHAT killed him.....

He was a cook. Seems that that is a pretty inane position in ANY institution.

Hmmm strange the term cook coming up
There seems to something of a threat to your health when hiking if cook and government are in the equation
