I was looking over photographs of Star clusters when I came across these weird looking objects:

GSC 00154-02370

2MASS J06302999+0452532

NGC 1097

[HHH98] V1

What are you thoughts?

If these have been found before I plead ignorance.

some sort of prism reflection. plus some hair of dust particles on the lens. i don't think any of it is originating in deep space. Rather it is some sort of local oddity in the photo process.

You must've not looked at all four links. No way any of these could be dust particles.

"Massive objects..."

I'm curious to know the way you determined that they are "massive"?

Also, why "objects"? Don't you think that it could be artifacts?

Op one of the things you will learn here very quickly is that no matter how convincing or intriguing a picture is, it will never ever be something other than a lens flare, hair, dead pixel, bird, etc etc. There is absolutely nothing in this universe that is beyond our understanding, and having an open mind is for wackjob, tinfoil hat wearing, crazy conspiracy theorist. Ok?

Cool pics!

We have a vast Universe, more then likely, our technology is catching up,either junk or real objects in existence. I have no doubt;we are not alone...
Most will agree it is probably some kind of lens flare, defective lens,or even speculate of being Chinese lantern somewhere in deep space...!
Good pics...thanks for sharing ...

Interesting. The 3rd link one does look like it could be just a nebula,

Some of the ones in the last link are quite interesting. If not photo artifacts could be possibly Dyson Spheres.

Nice find !

Not only are many of these just artifacts (most likely on the lens - some of them look like hair), they're REALLY OBVIOUSLY artifacts. As in, if I were to photoshop an image to try to show you what artifacts on the lens look like, they still wouldn't look as convincing as these.

Some of the others, however... look like distant nebulae, and are actually pretty awesome - particularly those in the latter two links.

At the least, the images have us questioning and judging this offered "evidence" of other beings being out there and in what strange manner be they in corporeal bodies and technologies? As similar to dubious, closeup images of UFOs, real or not we see daily on ATS, they serve a purpose of stirring the imagination to produce thoughts once not allowed but to science-fiction weirdo readers such as I was decades ago. Many of us have helped usher in a new era of understanding the Universe, well before most of science would allow the thought.

I agree with you completely. I am sick and tired of every single abnormalitie been put down to a **expletive*** lensflare or something similar to that.
It's seems to be the flavour of the day.

I dont understand why a person with their mind already made up about there not being any other sort of intelligent life in the universe, would even come to a thread like this just to shoot down the OP.
Like they some how think that because they say its something, and that it has to be a certain way, then there is no other possibility.
kind of wierd that someone with that mind type would join a community like his in the first place.

Edit:
Good find OP, i love these type of pics!
