Cheers all great advice from all much better than my rl mates advice which was just "perv" gonna go for her

I imagine your mates are simply jealous

Have you tried strutting around saying that some people have got it and others haven't whilst flexing the old Jessie Ventura's?

You are both of the age of consent and you like her and she likes you.

Do what they do on the discovery channel and #### what others say.

Go for it spidermonkey

It's been a few years for me and I feel really nervous.
Like how I used to feel when younger lol.

That's how you know this is a good thing

age is just a number my friend.
im 37 and my wife will be 25 this year. we have been together for 5 years.
the age difference has never been a problem

every now and then i get bummed out when i start thinking of being 70 while she is 58 or more than likely dead long before her. that bothers me but i have a strange thing about death.

the positive is unless there is an accident or a major medical thing i am pretty much guaranteed to die before her.
thats good cause i couldnt handle this rock without her.

i say dont worry about it.

you get 100 girls with the same age difference and some will work and some wont.
more about the person than the age imo

Little boy and girlmonkeys in 9 months time...

Can I be a godsquirrel?

Just go for it mate, Mrs Nibs and I have a 9 year age difference but those are only years, it is how you both feel for each other that is more important.

Have a great evening and don't end up getting brewers droop.

Kindest respects

I'm 30, and hubby's 44. We've been married going on 9 years, together for almost 11. You can see where we told people who had comments to stick them

FWIW, my dad is in his 70's, my stepmom in her 50's. Not only did they overcome disapproval from people because of a wide age gap, they also overcame cultural disapproval on 2 different continents from 2 different cultures -- she's from China. They've been married since 1995, 20 years. Considering everyone told my dad he'd be lucky if it lasted a year, a lot of people ended up shoving their foot in their mouth for nothing.

Age is just a number, don't pass someone up because of it. If your minds mesh, it's worth a try. Take care when dating co-workers, but don't let age be the roadblock. Listen to your heart, not other people.

You're both consenting adults and dig each other... it's a no brainer! You've got far more to lose my friend by not giving it a go than by trying it out. My biggest concern would be the work situation if it somehow goes South but you've got that covered already. You're a fool if you don't give it a shot in my opinion.

if someone in your life does not approve or gives you a hard time tell them to kick rocks

One thing though she gas never watched star wars....that will change lol.

OMG....She has NEVER seen Star Wars??? That is the most awful thing I have ever heard. Watching Star Wars should be the first thing on your list of things to do with her.

I've never been able to sit through any of them. I did turn my SW fanatic husband in to a Star Trek fan, though. Maybe BM's sweetie will turn him on to some better sci-fi, too

You like her - she likes you. What's the problem here?
20 years is quite a gap, but it also depends on the people involved. At your age, I could never have dated a 20 year old air head, but a mature, down to earth woman who just happened to be 20 is a different story. Now, it would just make me feel creepy. I have a son that's 26.
Go for it. Find happy where you can.

I think there are cases where age can help, more than hurt. Be smart, be alert, and be mindful of which head is doing the thinking. I was once "involved" with a woman more than 20 years my senior. I have fond memories of her to this day.

Very good point Klassified! Us men do have two brains and depending on the day and the moment, one is smarter than the other.
