I've felt that way since 2008. I stopped worrying about it, because even though I believe it's a meaningful feeling, you can't live your whole life in fear just because something bad might happen. The world is going to end one day regardless of how that comes about, so I think our energy is better spent focusing on the here and now where we can prevent future catastrophes instead of drifting through life in a paranoid haze constantly fearing for the future.

We're all screwed in one way or another, and no matter what our situation, we're all going to die. That doesn't mean we can't have a meaningful and positive existence in the meantime. It should mean the opposite - that we spend every moment we can appreciating the present and doing our best to improve the world from the inside out, starting with ourselves and our own attitude toward the world.

Yeah we're all doomed. So what? You're here right now, free, safe and alive and with enough spare time and energy to ponder the world and its many potential forms of demise. Why not use that time to indulge yourself with things that improve your quality of life and mental attitude instead of worrying about our inevitable end? I know it's easier said than done, believe me, I struggle with it every single day. But I mean it nonetheless. I spent two or three years constantly obsessing over this sort of stuff and I only learned three things: 1) my fears were justified, 2) there was nothing I could do about a vast majority of them, and 3) that didn't mean that I couldn't enjoy my life and still contribute my part towards a better future by whatever means possible.

You're no good to yourself or the world if you're paralyzed by fear. There's 'facing the facts' and being 'realistic' and then there's straight up pessimism, which leads to nihilism. This fear-porn stuff will turn the most bright-eyed soul into a bitter pessimist. Don't fall victim to that trap. It's important for one's sanity to keep an objective & honest perspective, but it's far more important to keep a positive mental attitude. But being an 'optimist' doesn't mean you have to bury your head in the sand. It just means you have the strength and courage to rise above the violent storm that surrounds us all in order to better navigate it.

Don't lose faith in good things and good people. They still exist, they're just not as obvious as the bad things and the bad people. There is love and light in this world as well as the dark, don't ever forget that.

Ahhhh.. yeah.. I've been having dreams of fighting for as long as I can remember, these days it's starting to feel more like it's preparation. A friend once argued dreams wouldn't constitute real experience.. I rather doubt that myself and I think science backs that now also. It obviously won't have the same effect as real life experience but its still our consciousness experiencing things.

Having been in the army and at war will be a very valuable experience to have had in this(I wanna say hypothetical) scenario.. Is there another country with as many veterans as the US I wonder? I think it might become one of the worst(most violent) places if the big one happens. There's a shadow hanging over it, so much karma.. comes with being the most influential country I guess, for good or bad. The US has been incredibly prosperous for a time now. The capacity for inflicting hurt is probably also second to none. So much hardware laying around, and so much general animosity racially and even politically.

The weak will die.. but the strong will be reborn having been through hell.

And now it's a waiting game.. to see whether we're all just delusional or not. Being vigilant yet not letting it affect one's life in a dysfunctional way.

I know the feeling you are talking about. Its like the calm before the storm type of feeling. I get the same type offeeling on a smaller scale altogether when thunder and lightening storm is imminent. Ive had it for a couple of years but more so this past 6 months. I note you say you are over 50. I am nearly 50. I do wonder if some of it is an age thing. I was never interested in politics, science, current affairs etc and now I am. The world suddenly becomes a lot scarier when you have more knowledge. As well I do believe we are living in one of the most frightening times I have ever known with terrorists. I live in Manchester and worked there when the IRA left the bomb. The difference with IRA terrorists you could negotiate, they warned when they were going to do something and I understood what they wanted. With groups such as ISIS they dont want anything there is nothing to negotiate and there is no warning. I think this has affected most of the planet and maybe its the collective fear as animals we are kn tune with!

It's not your age. Im 26. Even when I was little my parents would find me breaking apart their gardening equipment to fashion weapons out of hoes and pitch forks and I'd get scolded or spanked for it. Ever since I can remember I've had this feeling like I shouldn't even bother building or saving for a future, because all of it is going to come crumbling down. In the deepest part of me, I've always known something bad was going to happen. Even long before I knew the truth, or had even fathomed the question that lead me to it I knew. Ingrained in me like a bird knows North from South.

That's interesting...today there is a heaviness in the air that has nothing to do with the weather or the sky. I felt it as soon as I woke up. And everyone I have come in contact with today seems distracted, less friendly than usual, and in a hurry...some even uncharacteristically short-tempered. Do you still feel it strongly today? I cannot explain it, but I keep feeling like time is running out. For what, I don't know...just that sense of losing valuable time, even though I have no appointments or time constraining obligations. I wish I could explain it better.

Funny you would mention that.. Ever since halfway through 2012 I have lost but all of my ability to even REMEMBER my dreams, let alone have lucid ones anymore!

Wow...same here; with a few notable exceptions. I used to have dream journal and everything. I also never used to dream in color. Since 2012, I have had three dreams. All of them in color, and all of them terrifying. One in particular disturbed me so deeply that I literally did not sleep for three days, because I was afraid I'd see the continuation of it if I did. And after that dream was when this feeling of foreboding/foreshadowing/anticipation began to intensify, and it has only gotten stronger in the two years since I dreamed it. My housemate also has lost the ability to dream, and it is affecting him in a very profound way.

The patterns I've been watching see both the secular world and the spiritual world aimed squarely at September.

A lot of people have had dreams dropped on them. I've been one.

I'm almost afraid to ask this but, is there any possibility that you happen to know an exact date in September? Because I also had a dream that was so vivid that I can remember every single detail of it to this day, including a specific date.

I feel it too that something is coming. That on some days the sky is fake. It's not dread but welcoming to me like I'm going home.

Do you also feel in this welcoming that you will be leaving people behind?

Does anybody else see the triangle in the sky currently? It's formed from the moon, Venus (i believe) and another star I can't identify easily. It unnerves me because its so blatant and shines so brightly compared to anything else in the sky right now. I feel a bad omen coming from it, and it doesn't help that tomorrow is the summer solstice..

It's that Twilight Zone type of eerie, something's wrong with reality type of feeling. I've been there but I haven't ever experienced this fake sky thing. It does fascinate me however.

And don't worry about people calling you crazy on here, I am crazy, but they're crazier.. it doesn't matter, if we don't conform to the materialist scientific paradigm we're crazy by default. I say lay it out there, at least on the internet if you don't wanna "come out of the closet". Cause really, that would be an apt description. People seem to have no idea of how common paranormal phenomena actually are. People prefer not to talk about it, it's too taboo. If everyone who experienced high strangeness talked about it there'd be people everywhere reaching up their hands. Everyone knows a person that has experienced things, whether they know it or not. These parrots referring us to psychiatrists, they're just sheltered fools.. they're in the dark in Plato's proverbial cave and we're outside "hearing the music".

I created a thread about the fake sky, and you should see all the reactions...I've been told that I am mentally unstable, that I am stupid...absolutely vicious things. I have to keep reminding myself that these people are weak and afraid, and they are lashing out at me because that way they don't have to acknowledge that deep down they know that myself and you and all the rest of us who can "hear the music" are actually right.

It is a pity, because if we could all just come together and talk about all of the connected aspects of this, it would be far easier to make whatever transition we're facing less frightening and mysterious. We could learn from each other. But they refuse to do it and I really think it's not going to go very well for those who bury their heads in the sand...and that makes me feel sad for them. Look how many people shared what they felt right here on this thread. We made a connection, found common ground. I feel sometimes that we are being given signs or messages, and the things that are described here are meant to be shared, but those who will not let go of their ego long enough to hear it are sealing their own fate.

In 2008 I had a dream of something coming. It was vivid, it was real, it was the future.

My friend called me the next day, who was completely on the other side of the planet, and described the dream he had the night before, the same dream that I had.

Since that day, my life has changed and I have learned about the world and my friend and I too have had these feelings. 2012 did not seem right. The timing was off, despite all the hooplah surrounding it.

But this year is different. The impending feeling grows steadily as it always has and no matter what you do to distract yourself, it is always in the back of your mind and you always come back to it.

Is the end coming? Doubtful. But I have no doubt that the end of this world as we know it is indeed on its way. Some people are aware of the feeling. Some people are not. Doesn't change the reality of it.

I, too, have been having this feeling of doom for at least the last three years. I used to have a regular dream about gigantic ocean waves coming over the land and dark, windy stores. I could see it through the top window of a basement in some cinder block house. I don't think the waves can reach, but eventually they come right up to the window and my dream ends. This isn't just normal ocean water- its thick, black, and foamy with all kinds of debris floating in it.

Anyway, with all the news about September, I went on a huge spending spree and I've been prepping like crazy. I bought food insurance for a year, cooking fuel, water barrels, solar cells, and a long list of other things. Next month I'm taking gun lessons and I have knives, axes, and bats stored around the house for extra security. I'm on track to get my prepping done by the end of July. I do plan on selling all my investments soon and sit on cash and gold until the end of the year.

I've been advising many of my close friends and my extended family to do the same, but it is falling on mostly deaf ears. Get ready folks. Just get ready...

I got chills all over when I read this. For the past three days, I have had an increasingly strong feeling that I am being watched. Not just me, either. And it's really creepy because people who are close to me seem to be some of the ones watching. I was talking to my housemate yesterday morning about the embedding of chips in the credit cards that will be happening in October, and for some strange reason I just suddenly felt that I needed to change the subject. I have never felt that way around him before, but it almost seemed as if it was not him that I was talking to. I felt a calculating, intent watchfulness coming off him in waves. He was suddenly far too quiet and far too intently listening to what I was saying, and that is completely out of character for him anyway but more than that, I just got the overwhelming feeling that someone unseen was "tuning in". And the someone--or something--was amused (?) or something...that's not exactly the right word but it's hard to describe. I cannot think of a way to put it.

I literally stopped in mid-sentence and after a couple seconds, deliberately found something out the car window to feign distraction...and when I did, the "watching" feeling receded. Not vanished...receded. It was creepy as hell. The lady who owns the coffee house next door gave me the same strange feeling this morning...to the point that I won't be going back in there any time soon. It takes a lot to frighten me, I cannot emphasize that enough...it takes some serious threatening vibes to rattle me. And I am officially rattled. I don't have time to expound more, but I will be writing everything down with times/dates in case it becomes important later.

This old worn-out wine-bag of a system of things is about to burst at the seams.

There is a saying: 'Red at morning, sailor take warning, red at night, sailor's delight.' Something like that. I learned it when I was a kid. Basically sailor's knew what the weather was going to be like by observing the sky at dusk and dawn.

When Jesus walked the earth he said something similar:

“When evening falls, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is fire-red,’ and in the morning, ‘It will be wintry, rainy weather today, for the sky is fire-red but gloomy.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but the signs of the times you cannot interpret. Matthew 16:2, 3.

When wanting to discern when the conclusion of the system has arrived his followers asked him for the sign. And Jesus gave them one they needed to watch out for. And using discernment they could perceive that the end has indeed arrived.

All of the signs he gave are being fulfilled. So any person with discernment should be able to come to the logical conclusion that the end is close at hand.

Perhaps, I do not know, perhaps it is possible you somehow are able to discern the times and seasons? Many people are not able to.

But since you are, there is something you can do about it.

Peter stated:

"Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, consider what sort of people you ought to be in holy acts of conduct and deeds of godly devotion, as you await and keep close in mind the presence of the day of Jehovah, through which the heavens will be destroyed in flames and the elements will melt in the intense heat! But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell." -2 Peter 3:11-13.

The "heavens" that are to be destroyed is not referring to the literal sky, nor is is referring to the Milky Way, or the universe. In this context it is referring to mankind's political system of things.

The heavens are the governmental rulers, and the earth, are the people they rule over.

When that time arrives and Jesus comes to wage war against wicked humankind, and all human government he will establish a government, a "new heavens" of peace, a heavenly one, over all the earth of righteous mankind, a "new earth." That is why Jesus said happy are the meek, because they are going to inherit the earth.

The Psalmist promised that just a little more time and the wicked will be no more and the righteous will live forever upon it.

And even Daniel stated that during the time of the end, God would establish a government in heaven that will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms on earth, and it will stand forever.

Jesus stated:

“Now learn this illustration from the fig tree: Just as soon as its young branch grows tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near. Likewise also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors. - Matthew 24:32, 33.

To know what all "these things are" it is important to read Bible prophecy. Matthew 24 gives you many of those signs.

Luke 21 is also another chapter that speaks of signs that the end is at hand. And notice the state of mind, or mentality of the people at that time:

"People will become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken." Luke 21:26.

This time has not yet arrived, but it is near. When it does arrive, the powers of the governments will be shaken, and Jesus stated that the "sign of the son of man will appear in heaven." That is supernatural portents in the sky will manifest themselves and people at that time WILL HAVE TO KNOW what is happening.

Talking to his real followers, Jesus said, that while the wicked world of mankind will be in an uproar, and faint out of fear, Revelation says that all mankind will go to the "mountains" and ask them to cover them because of the fear they will have at that time, Jesus tells his followers, these things taking place will be a reason to lift up their heads and stand erect:

"But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near.” - Luke 21:28.


The signs are clear, the trees have budded and the season is close at hand.

There are signs that are still left to be seen, but this signal that will now be shown to you signals an end of the year of goodwill, from which, right now, all who hear the warning, and heed it, can find safety. What is that event? Notice what God's word says:

"For you yourselves know very well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. 3 Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly on them, just like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will by no means escape." - 1 Thes 5:2, 3.

This special "cry of peace and security" will be a unique event in human history in the near future. Those who are awake spiritually will know that it is the trigger that signals the end.

Jesus says then at that time a great tribulation that no man has seen up until then will occur:

"For then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short." - Mat 24:21, 22.

This will be a turning point in human history. What that great tribulation will be is shown us an signs and symbols in Revelation 17, 18. It will be a turning upon the world-wide empire of false religion at the behest of mankind's political system of things.

In Revelation it states that God puts it into the heart of the wild-beast (the 7-headed one with 10 horns) which represents all of mankind's governments together. The image of that beast is the United Nations. It will gain power and judge religion as unworthy and they will turn upon her, make her naked, expose her for the worthless lying prostitute and fraud she is, and utterly rip her to part and burn what is left with fire.

Mankind will have to flee from religion if they want to survive.

After that time the sign of the son of man will appear in heaven:

"“Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Matthew 24:29, 30.

When you see that the prophecies have come true, even you, if you are alive at that time, will have to acknowledge that what Jehovah foretold in the Bible is accurate. And it turned out just as he stated it would. He is not a liar.


"Then the kings of the earth, the high officials, the military commanders, the rich, the strong, every slave, and every free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they keep saying to the mountains and to the rocks: 'Fall over us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?'" - Rev 6:15-7

Equally I have seen images of our destruction since I was a small child. In the past several years while I don't see the sky as "fake" (not saying you're wrong) I have seen the light gradient change. DRAMATICALLY!! I have never had the sense of foreboding shared in this thread either.

My understanding of it has always been that it's bleed-over ( the feelings & perceptions) from other things we share this space with fighting with each other. We perceive it in subconscious subtle ways and mistake it as something directed at us.

Right or wrong there it is.

Secondly this "buying into doom porn". It's my understanding as many people who do, there are as many who don't. People who Consciously who see it for the illusion it is and actively work to make things better. Not airy-fairy pie in the sky stuff, but people who make tiny differences when and how they can.

It's never wrong to be prepared, it's never wrong to learn skills that may come in handy. It's never wrong to be aware and looking at what "may be" coming down the pike. What I AM saying is while natural or unnatural disasters will pop up, this buying into THE BIG ONE is hogwash. Humanity will die from a thousand self inflicted cuts before we get nailed by an asteroid or the earths plates come undone.

....those who say our time isn't coming fast enough, or we deserve to be wiped out? STEP OFF!! Shame on you! This place and this time are a precious gift. You are a traitor to humanity & worse than a Sheeple.

BlueAjah is correct that we need to listen to our selves, I just think that as many more people do that it's new to them and fear kicks in first till they develop the skill and settle down with it. Once the initial fear passes they will be fine and do well.

I'm glad this thread was started as we ALL have pieces to the puzzle.
