This has been happening for quite some time in the while culture. Especially amongst males as we refer to them as wiggers. Basically white wanna be gangsta rappers.

I'm surprised more blacks aren't angry. I'm not angry, although I'm white...and wouldn't think it would make such a difference. I figure she will reap what she sows, so why the anger? People misrepresent themselves all the time. Politicians lie their a$$es off and get rewarded for it.

Still, I'm not sure I understand what the big deal is. Lady lied. Lady resigned. Lady disgraced (for the moment). (These disgraced public figures always seem to bounce back, somehow.)

There are more important things to get angry over...

That and my nasty, big, pointy teeth.

I look just like my father too. Just many shades paler. So, features of my Black father with my mothers fair skin. There are people with tans darker than me.

This woman picked a very odd thing to lie about. Skin tone and ethnicity really doesn't bring bragging rights. She could have bragged about her own actual accomplishments.

Nobody is criticizing her for trying to help anyone. She's being criticized (and rightly so) because she's a public figure, and was caught lying.

I think she's got some serious jealousy issues surrounding the adoption of her siblings to go with an amount of identity dissociation.

There probably is a little something there. Maybe. No way I (or you) could know for sure

In the grander scheme of things - there are worse crimes a person might commit. I know you're all jaded and cynical - and like that :-)

Has a sociopathic feel to it. I would not be surprised if she has "re-invented" herself numerous times throughout her life in order to gain some benefit.
