I was just writing one some topics at ATS when this came back to me. I personally try not to over fascinate myself and my persona, yet any creative expression requires a bit letting of the ego in the light of others. Thus said one old thought passes by and mad me smile. It was a long time I have not shuffled Carlos Castaneda's books, yet I remember one very potent scent, where Don Juan explains to its pupil something about that matter. He said like this: There is three types of people - The good ones, the evil ones and the ones who think they can achieve everything. It does not mater from who you are - said Don Juan - You cannot change it, neither resist it, but the difference between the ordinary man and the Nazgul(Spiritual master) is that the ordinary man takes himself seriously and the Nazgul does not. Now I can add one quote which were referred toAtila the Hun, then slowly leave and enjoy this movie plus some mineral water with bubbles.

"No real chieftain takes themselves seriously."

Oh lets use your full title ahem...

The most very right idiot of the second degree of the Masters of ceremony of whom idiots children worship.

Back to the OP.

I happen to think I have a little bit of all three in me...we all do, even a bad man can do good things.

I don't usually, I guess it depends though, but I know I always give people the wrong impression first off, I either say too much or too little and always in the wrong way apparently.

If I took my life seriously I'd be in a constant state of fear and panic, so I learnt not to do that. You have to have a bit of gallows humour in my situation

Those that admit to being fools/idiots are only fooling themselves.
But then, they also admit to never taking themselves seriously, thus, the conundrum.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, won't get fooled again.

Greetings and Salutations- Forget Your name, that is if "Ego" is indeed Your name. This will free You up to 'learn' new things and then 'teach' the things You've learned. "To Teach" is the same as "To Learn" unless You are NOT teaching what it is You are learning. Do this and You do You/They (the "other You") little or no good...

Sgt. Schulz KNEW everything and He stated as much by uttering "I KNOW nothing; I see nothing"...

Have You read what The Great Buddha said about folks' "4th Wife"? ALL inclusive, even the female, even the female as We embrace Yin, The Devine Feminine...

Jimmy The Saint in the movie classic "Things To Do In Denver When You Are Dead" "Give it a name"

Lao Tzu in the Tao Te Ching: "There are far too many 'names' already..."

Whats in a name? EVERYTHING if it is 'Ego' and it gets in The Way... How about the "Super Ego" and the "Id"?

I take life seriously a lot of times.
But my self? Not so much. I am too unreliable for that.
Someone on this site has said a few times that I am like many different personalities rolled into one.
How could I be taken seriously? I'd be setting myself up for discouragement.

I'm a six foot, chain-smoking, scotch-swilling smart-ass rabbit.

Of course I take myself seriously.

I believe I can achieve whatever, with motivation for it....

I take myself very seriously and every second of every moment the same....almost to a point. But then I see in pictures that move

But I don't judge myself or others, we are all crazy here.

Just another guy with kids n' stuff....

Cheers! Cool topic.

I was going to respond to this but I can't decide if you're asking if I think I'm Sirius Black or Siri from an iPhone.

First star: "No, I'm Sirius."
