some of us are aware of what image intensification optics cost - we are also aware that staring into space throught them does not result in magical revalations of " alienz "

PS - also ` 3rd gen ` optics are not magic - and not worth the cost for 99% of civilian applications

i have a set of NVGs that cost £300 [ GBP ] and woot - i can see blobs in the sky too

And for my trouble I was abducted and returned. Not something I recommend.

Elaborate...

Because you say that casually and non-nonchalantly as if you just mentioned your favorite soda or something.

I see you deniers and agenda driven people.... Im glad I didn't start my "Look through a wineglass with a burger king crown to see ghosts" thread.

I almost did.

You deniers don't deserve the truth.

I got 100s of hours using military Gen 5s while flying, and 1000s on MWIR...never seen a thing other than meteors that would not be seen by the naked eye....

Saw a big ass bird once...kind of scared me....

I have a rather expensive gen4 scope, and I've never once witnessed anything out of the ordinary with it. The stars at night do look quite beautiful through it, though.

Anyone wants me to talk

PM me

I already posted I was done with this thread.

Aww are you butthurt because you aren't the only person in the world that has looked at the sky with night vision?

Did you honestly think that, because not everyone has a night vision scope, we'd believe that looking at the sky with one would reveal all sorts of UFO's and get the viewer abducted?

You'll have to try a lot harder than that if you want to hoax ATS.

Idiot. Why would you look at them, and let them know you can see them? Rookie mistake.

Assuming your story is true, that is. So many charlatans.

With my presumable Gen1(?) monocular night vision(129€ from 2007 or so), you get to see moving dots you wont see with your naked eye. They never bothered to came down to me. Those damn satellites.
edit on 26-8-2015 by verschickter because: what is this with the double l in satellites. Never get it into my head
