Just the same old recycled issues that exist for the sheep to fight over: abortion, gay rights, immigration, human rights, civil rights, healthcare, economics, all in a naked individual vacuum of distraction.

NEVER are any of these issues dealt with substantially, scientifically, or factually objective

Indeed, ALL the candidates will claim they are about some form of change: reactionary change on the side of the GOP and revolutionary or evolutionary change claimed by the liberals.

But funny when they always get in office NOTHING CHANGES!

…and I’ll be willing to lay odds 20 to1 that the next president is the same and wont change a damn thing!

WHY

Of course we all understand the bribery extortion scam in politics: lobbyist and the elite powers, but beyond that these candidates NEVER ever have a vision or plan of action to do the basic things that need to be done whether conservative or liberal.

And why is that? Because THEY DON’T REALY WANT CHANGE

They exist to ONLY maintain the powers and privileges of those already there and to with all of their powers keep the others out.

A candidate who had a plan or vision would do more than just recycle the change platitude as they all do.

Indeed a plan such as for the resuscitation of the infrastructure; the future economy where returning good jobs is the goal; the establishment of a foreign policy of real peace and not constant conflict and war; true environmental standards with a legitimate scientific debate not just AL Gore pedantic ramblings; a real policy on crime and inner city revival.

These issues and many more are always dealt with in empty platitudes NEVER any real scientific strategic analysis by these vapid candidates who are only specialist in demagogic propaganda at best, never any real thoughtful, visionary ideas and solutions. So get ready for another show of gamesmanship and propaganda, demagoguery and money driven bullsh__

Visions and long term plans get politicians killed......

No keeping the status quo is the game.

Great response!

To the point and unfortunately true

We may have to have anonymous elections to really get things done

Well no, their handler "advisors" haven't told them what to think yet...

You're so impatient, give 'em a little time.

I see it as more having to correct prior mistakes. The original plan by the forefathers was warped; changed through amendments to the constitution. How does a sitting president correct the flaws of (lets say the last two administrations in 4-8 years. The problems are always the same problems as Willtell stated; no one apparently has the vision to find a fix. It seems we are always behind the eight ball, and as you alluded to grand changes could get you relieved of office in an instant. Who is running the show?

We should have a politician who seeks a plan that has scientific facts behind it. We have all these great and powerful computers

Cant, for example, they come up with a holistic and integral economic system of fairness, justice for all that will feed and employ everybody? A mixture of fair capitalism, a small dose of socialistic ideas, and freedom?

Look these computers can beat the best chess players in the world

Have these great genius minds ever thought of that?

Now that's just one idea

Apply science to politics

In concept I agree with you, but science and politics could be a very dangerous combination. Especially with an apathetic populous to lazy to practice oversight.

Will, you are so wrong.

Their vision?
To be in the White House.

Their plan?
To eat steak wearing just boxer shorts in the Lincoln Bedroom.

The rest of us can just suck wind.

Of course there will be a risk since humans are involved but the machine will just offer an objective plan of action.

And the people can see it for themselves

Though essentially this idea has to a part of a system of objective scientific analysis of problems

Its strange that this has never been done to much to my knowledge

science has become just a mechanical power tool of the elite

not a partner in solving human problems

Does it really matter at all what the candidates say? The elections appear to be fixed, so said the rich fellow who built the biggest house in the USA and claims he fixed it so that Bush won. (it's on YT somewhere) Then there's Obama admitting that he is a puppet (at a WH press dinner). The CFR determines policy and gives the pres his orders, so everyone claims. And there's AIPAC and Bilderberg to take direction from. So what people appear to be voting on is the personality they're most going to like.

Seriously, all the stuff you're complaining about in this might have a chance to be fixed. There's one guy who's willing to do it, but you need to put away your bias and presumptions for a minute and honestly research what he's done and what he wants to do. Honestly do some research about Bernie Sanders. Don't go to some Right Wing Hacks for your info either. Look up the data. Look at his history of what he's done. What he's voted for. His consistency, etc.

Look at the data, not the gossip or the hype and listen to his speeches and debates and his history.

What do you mean give you access to it??? Just copy it off the page. What are you gonna do with it??

It's actually going in both directions you just can't tell. They are both spinning opposite each other.

Have a cabinet you do not recognize (cannot name) because you spend the majority of your time watching Pay for view sporting events/or on the campaign trail? Being the president is actually a vacation for some elected.

I'd say he's done a great job at making it happen.

I cannot copy your avatar as I am working off of a 286 computer from the 80s 64 mg on the hard drive; (it needs to be ON THE PAGE). I am going to correct the spin is all [that is not spinning opposite each other]. I am going to use it for diabolical purpose; maybe build a better brownie.

Popular vote means nothing, and yes it set up that way; the electoral college determines the presidency (state representatives). They are supposed to vote their constituency and usually do BUT there is always the chance they will not.
