The most annoying aspects of either gender are brought about because of the opposite gender. The most negative traits in men are normally driven by a primal competition scarcity mindset and trying to demonstrate their value to women. The most negative aspects in women are in trying to fit into the expectations of what a male-dominated society placed on them.

A world with one man not facing any competition and countless women who are free from patriarchal society limitations would actually be pretty awesome. I think the man would find plenty of women with whom he could share all of his interests with and most women you ask wouldn't really miss the menfolk so... win/win, I guess.

I like having friends of both genders in fairly equal balance.
It would be a nightmare to be the only person of an opposite gender on the whole planet.

If it were only one woman and all men... yikes. That would be nightmarish. With the one man scenario, his sperm could be collected and provide births among many women. With one woman, however, she would be like the prized Krogan that entire nations would fight over.

In fact, the racists would all band together to take her in order to save their "race". Without her, their skin color will die out forever. Every racist from every ethnicity would take on a "savior of the race" mentality.

It would be absolutely awful.

But a man impregnating thousands of women takes little effort on his part (most men do the required work every day in the bathroom anyway) and it would't be critical for any one group of women to physically keep him in one spot. A woman can only be pregnant with one child at a time and obviously takes a considerably greater effort which means it would be imperative for each group of men to have exclusive access to her. It's stressful just thinking about it.

A man in a woman's world would have it faaaaar easier than a woman in a man's world.

I'd think it would be sad.
Notwithstanding transsexual people, whom I cannot speak for (but it becomes a bit pointless being trans-gender without gender).

But only pretty ladies and frocks at weddings?

No more brothers stuffed into fairly uniform suits?

Uff, when it comes time for the "secret" joint around the corner, I'll be the only one knocking back the beer and having a fart.

Even if there's a masculine woman or two, I'd feel very lonely and excluded.

I'd hardly do much, because whatever one gives as a reason, half of what one does (at least) is to roll with the male peer group.
If all the men wore shorts and walked barefoot in winter, I'd do it too.

It's always nice to have a lady looking, but mostly the unspoken approval is sought from other men.

Maybe it's an age or country thing, and not all men feel that way?

What's worse is, not many of the ladies of ATS have given their input yet....
We know who they are.
But the fact that the female of the species tends to stay quiet and plot...... is making me very nervous at the moment!
