Grandpups: the Patterdale Terrier update

Well, our precious pups have survived the first week of life. These 4 females were born on Memorial Day. Their eyes have not yet opened and they are soft and pudgy with voracious appetites. Mama is doing all the grooming, guarding, and gorging she can...



and then, when all is done...



Whenever I feel the need for an uplift in spirit, I walk into our "caninery" and have a peek, a quick pat, or an occasional cuddle.

How do you tell who loves you more, your dog or your wife?

Put them both in the trunk of your car for a 1/2 hour and when you open the trunk which one is happy to see you?

We are keeping only one, the chocolate one. Both dame and sire are all black!

We are giving the other 3 away, I cannot sell them, I'm just that way. They are not property!!

We are screening for good, loving homes.

LOL!!! Sometimes I wanna lock myself up somewhere!! We have sheep, chicks, 4 puppies, a.cat, doves, and 3 adult dogs.

Sounds like an AWESOME place to live!

I'm jealous, just have 3 cats and a dog. They do seem to keep us busy though.

Hershey is cute. Here are a few ideas. I tend to like very odd names. Like Jaia (my avatar dog). But these are more conventional.
