She posted on social media that she's going to tell her story on Al Jazeera...

Again, what does that tell you?

I did some digging on her and she does have ties to radical Imams. This is also not the first time she's posted on Facebook about her perceived "discrimination."

It's sounds like she walks around with a chip on her shoulder waiting for someone to do something "offensive" so she can tell everyone about it and seek sympathy. Someone found a story where she went to see Taken 2 and got upset about the portrayal of Muslims in the movie (you went to see an American movie where Muslims were the bad guy... what did you expect?) and she claimed that people were "whispering to each other about her" as she was leaving the theater and she claimed to know exactly what they were thinking. She's a drama queen who goes around hoping she is the target of discrimination so she can use it in her work.

Here is her "bio" from Northwestern U....

Sister Tahera Ahmad, University Chaplain

Note: Obama is mentioned !!!!!!!!!

So a woman who makes her entire living based on her religious identity complains that people identify her religious identity?

WTF is a female Muslim chaplain, is that an American thing?" It does not exist in the middle east.

IF the story is true, then the airline owes a public apology.

IF the story isn't true, then the woman owes an apology and the airline can sue her for loss of $$$ due to her lie.

Time will tell ...

I didn't know where to put this. posse comitatus wasn't allowing me to post. Denied unopened Soda

This might seem small, but others were treated differently than she was. I find it discriminatory.

I've been given unopened cans of soda. Depends on the airline.

Did she ask for it opened or unopened? You know, sometimes people have accents that you can't understand, maybe the attendant misheard her?

I just want to point out, those saying no witness came forward to support the passenger - - - no witness came forward to support the flight attendant either.

Airline Apologizes After Muslim Chaplain Denied Unopened Can of Soda
by ELIZABETH CHUCK

A flight attendant involved in a kerfuffle over a can of Diet Coke requested by a Muslim woman will no longer serve customers, United Airlines said in an apology to the passenger on Wednesday.

Misheard her but told her she can't have it because it may be used as a weapon?

Not sure how that would work.

My contention with supporting witnesses was with her claim regarding the other passesengers, it seemed like extreme embellishment to me.

Maybe. But, there is no "outspeak" against her either (from those on the plane). No support for the airlines or flight attendant.

I've been in similar situations Woman vs Man - - - without the religious/cultural implications.

Any woman server is wise to cater to the woman not the man. Especially if she's serving a couple.

Women servers tend to want to please men. Human nature, I guess.

I personaly do not doubt that part of the story, United would not have issued a statement and had the crew member apologize if there were not an issue.

What I find highly doubtful is her overly embellished recounting of the other passengers.

Which other passengers?

The man that was handed a can of beer unopened?

The man who verbally assaulted her? (who I think should get a visit from authorities).

Or someone else?

That one. And I believe there was another she claimed said something derogatory as well.

There should be plenty of people who overheard these exchanges, I want to know where they are.

I have flown many times, international and local. International flights tend to be more catering to the customers(i am assuming due to high $ ticket) but local flights(less than 4-5 hrs) tend to offer complimentary drinks and snacks.

Many times FA will open a can of drink and pour in small cups, usually a can is enough for 3 people. You can request a new can be opened, most FA will comply with it. I even asked for a whole can, some said no, some didn't care.

Many people would not like to get involved in such circumstances, witness will remain anonymous, n Airlines will not disclose passenger information whether he was a bigot or not.

She only remembers tho who directly assaulted her, which imo, is easy to remember.

Any proof?Verifiable links perhaps????

Again links please.....

Well this time she was the target of discrimination..What do you have to say about that? The airline company apologize to her,the flight attendant was sacked and up to now NO OTHER PASSENGER ON THAT FLIGHT CAME FORWARD TO REFUTE HER STORY.
Like I said on page 1,no one is coming forward because they are ashamed for not intervening when she was being verbally assaulted by that guy...That is the reason

I didn't hear about a second person.

It seems surprising no one has said anything, on any media.

An anonymous witness is still a witness, no one has said anything, either anonymously or otherwise.

I wander what the repercussions are for the man that the Muslim women said that screamed profanities at her.

Imagine if he was a Muslim yelling at a white Christian woman.

He'd be on a terrorist list before you could "pop a top".
