I don't know if this has been done before, but there are a lot of members on ATS that live all over the Earth. I want to make a continuous where people post cool photos of weather, or nature in general and then we chat about them. I'll start off with a few pictures of some flooding occurring behind my school due to the rain we have received here in North Texas. There are some computer weather models showing an extreme amount of rain for Texas during the last 2 weeks of May and first 2 weeks of June, with some ensemble members showing 20 inches over the 4 week span in some areas.
It looks like this new "river" is going to get bigger.

Your turn to post your pics!

I love the idea for this thread! I'll subscribe to it just like the earthquake thread. Starred and Flagged.

Thanks,

STM

Cool idea for a thread. Thunderstorm season is about to get started in the UP. Maybe soon I'll get some get pictures of storms out over the lake.

I have a couple shots of a gorgeous wall cloud just over the lake west of here from last year, but it's on the computer (and I'm on my phone).

Thanks I love seeing pictures of clouds and Thunderstorms. Wall clouds and Shelf clouds are some of my favorites.

It hardly qualifies as weather, but as we have been in such a serious drought in California, the rain we have had the last two days actually matters. They say that this is the second wettest May on record for this area. So, yeah: WEATHER! We actually have some for a change. If only we could capture/save more of it instead of watching most of the water flow out to the Pacific Ocean.

Clouds are weather though.
Stratus clouds are some of my favorite clouds I like to look at.

Certainly not "extreme", but I love this view outside of my work. Reminds me of 300

When Uploading from Imageshack there's a little tab that says direct, change it to forum and it will work. Very nice picture though!

Winter weather is probably my 2nd favorite kind of weather behind thunder storms. Beautiful pics!
