Yes........it is all the fault of those evil republicans that 0bama is a failure.

It can't have anything to do with his actions being horrific, his stances all wrong, his ideals corrupted or anything else.

All the evil GOP.

Once again, being a bit melodramatic?

Any intelligent person that pays attention to politics would be easily able to conclude that jimmy is right. The republicans have done everything within their power to make Obama's presidency as hard as possible. The even admitted that right at the beginning of his first term.

It doesn't matter if his ideals or actions were the best ever designed, he couldn't do much without congress and no matter the consequences, no matter what was at stake...the republicans fought against him tooth and nail.

The worst part of this presidency is that the GOP has been able to further brainwash millions of people to become so uninformed and hateful. Even if Obama was trying to do the right thing, it wouldn't matter to the GOP minions. They have to oppose him, regardless the cost.

Then you have a case like this where all it takes is a little context to understand what he was talking about, and they just gloss it over and continue down the same damn road.

So please spare me the drama queen, victim mentality, cry baby BS. The GOP deserves every bit of criticism they receive. As does Obama and the Dems, but most of the criticism I see the Left getting is rooted in stupidity.

And you called ME melodramatic???? Surely you jest, after your diatribe.

Honestly, you and Jimmy should just publicly come to terms that you would apologize for 0bama passing wind in an elevator full of midgets.

0bama has failed because his whole stance and ideals are big fat failures.

He has failed and shown to be a giant turd all on his own.

Lol, I went to public school and I'm an anarchist because of my experiences.

That and anarcho-capitalism is a sound ideology.

Any intelligent person that pays attention to politics would be easily able to conclude that both political parties try to subvert one another.

Any intelligent person that pays attention to politics would be easily able to conclude that republicans and democrats are equally retarded.

Any intelligent person that pays attention to politics would be easily able to conclude that an individual is capable of critisizing an administration without actively supporting the "other" political party.

Any intelligent person that pays attention to politics would be easily able to conclude that both political parties in the United States are actively working together to erode liberty, the right's of the individual, and the ideals of classical liberals that made us the greatest republic to have ever existed.

Unfortunately, hardcore republicans and democrats like yourself, are too blinded by chicanery to see the forest for the trees.

I don't believe anyone is apologizing for anything Obama has said. We are trying to view it within the context as we understand it. Why is it that if someone doesn't constantly bash or hate Obama and try to view things from a rational point of view, they must be apologists or love the guy?

Perhaps you should come to terms with the fact that if Obama passed gas on an elevator full of midgets, you would call him a socialist traitor and call for his impeachment. Obama could save a bunch of baby orphans from a burning building and the right would find something negative to cry about.

Those of us that get to look at politics from outside the left vs right paradigm are fortunate because we can call things as we see it. Obama is not the failure the right-wing propaganda claims he is. Sure, he has had his failures and idiotic moments, but he has been a fairly moderate president that hasn't done anything extreme whatsoever. Yes, he owns Obamacare, but that failure rests on the shoulders of both the democrats and republicans.

As I said in an earlier post, find something real to whine about. Obama, while not properly delivered, made a relevant point that should spark conversation. Instead we have the knuckleheads coming in to post the typical "Obama is a turd" and other irrelevant brainwashed comments.

I know this may be OT but I can't wait for 2016 so people calm the hell down and this site gets back to normal.

Or maybe it never will... this place is getting so ridiculous. All the entertaining/educational stuff is just buried by a mountain of red versus blue now.

You assume too much. I am not a democrat. In fact, I'm still a registered republican. I quit associating myself with the party after 9/11 and after I saw the massive propaganda campaign that was turning otherwise intelligent people in to brainwashed idiots.

I can agree with most of what you said, but the biggest difference between the parties is that the Democrats do no have the a propaganda system that can even compare to the republicans. We're not even in the same ballpark. The republicans have brainwashed millions more people than the democrats could ever hope for.

It was exactly the same when Bush was in office.

Democrats critizised him just because he was a Republican, Republicans defended him just because he was a Republican.

Some people criticized him because, imo, he deserved every bit of it--but got lumped into the "you're just a liberal progressive" by the Republicans.

It's honestly mentally exhausting, because we now have the same thing, just the parties have switched.

You just wait. If we get a Republican president in 2016, you'll see what I'm talking about.

What we really need is an anarchist cleansing.

First Obama says that private schools are anti-government. (absurd, he just doesn't like the kids not being controlled by DC). And now we have this -

THE PLOT THICKENS -

Obama's Education Secretary - We need government boarding schools, certain kids we should have 24/7

Education Secretary Arne Duncan made the comments Tuesday in Arlington, Va., at the Youth Violence Prevention Summit.

“One idea that I threw out … is this idea of public boarding schools. That’s a little bit of a different idea, a controversial idea,” he said. “But the question is — do we have some children where there’s not a mom, there’s not a dad, there’s not a grandma, there’s just nobody at home? There’s just certain kids we should have 24/7 to really create a safe environment and give them a chance to be successful.”

He also said current schools should be “community centers” and “be open 12, 13, 14 hours a day” with “a wide variety of after-school programs.”

Raised by the government. Yeah .. that's an awesome idea. NOT!

Talk about a ready made indoctrinated populace. WOW!

Don't become blinded by the Democrats, either. Obama deserves criticism in this case because his argument is invalid.

Human beings should always have the right to choose, period.

If he really wants students not to take-up "anti-government sentiment," then sticking them all in public school is not the way to do that.

But, his position also fails to take into consideration that people will eventually become jaded to government no matter what.

I was raised in public schools and public parks, and I hate government.

Your kids should suffer for the common (socialist) good. We won't fix the public schools, we won't allow vouchers so your kids can go to private schools, our answer is to "dissuade" people from private schools so you can't avoid the failure.

When you promote Ignorance & Equal Failure, there is Equality.

Insanity.

www.realclearpolitics.com... .html

On Tuesday, President Obama participated in the Catholic-Evangelical Leadership Summit on Overcoming Poverty at Georgetown University in Washington. While many topics were discussed, including the media, the president addressed the impact children attending private schools have on the "opportunity" for other children.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: We don’t dispute that the free market is the greatest producer of wealth in history -- it has lifted billions of people out of poverty. We believe in property rights, rule of law, so forth. But there has always been trends in the market in which concentrations of wealth can lead to some being left behind. And what’s happened in our economy is that those who are doing better and better -- more skilled, more educated, luckier, having greater advantages -- are withdrawing from sort of the commons -- kids start going to private schools; kids start working out at private clubs instead of the public parks. An anti-government ideology then disinvests from those common goods and those things that draw us together. And that, in part, contributes to the fact that there’s less opportunity for our kids, all of our kids.

So, am I reading this right.

If I send my kid to private school for a better education then I am "ROBBING" opportunity from other kids. I am supposed to send my kid to "stupid school" so my kid has less opportunity for success?

What the hell is wrong with these people.

Where have you been living, under a rock? This surprises no one. The socialist dream for the US is compulsory education in gov't run schools with the total elimination of all private, parochial and religious based schools and of course, home schooling would be made illegal, probably a felony offense.

This is how the agenda will proceed. Get over it. There's nothing you can do about it. If you don't like it, move to some country that isn't going this way, but be forewarned, within 25 years they'll all be the same. Per the great Melissa Harris-Perry of MSNBC fame, people like you need to get over the idea that children you bear as an American citizen are yours alone. The Socialists see them as property of the State. In fact as far as they're concerned, you shouldn't own anything which is why in States where they are in control, they are buying up land and placing it into so-called "Public Trusts" which are administered by the State Gov't. Doing away with property rights, or making the exercise of private property rights near impossible is one of the core goals of the Socialist Statists.

And, as far as I'm concerned, a nation of people that would elect Barak Obama to the White Hut, not once, but twice, fully deserves the Socialist utopia.

This guy has to be joking. ALL the power players in Washington send their kids to private school. ALL the heads of large corporations (fed by crony capitalism) send their kids to private school. The truth is that the graduates of those private schools are already at the government feeding trough, because their parents are. They will simply carry on the tradition of either working for the government or running a company married to the government. They will be the next legion of dyed-in-the-wool champions of big brother. Obama has the issue completely backwards - and unfortunately that is the norm.

WOW....you profess to be object and wanting the same, yet throw out BS like you did.

If he did, I wouldn't care. But, when he does, he would blame someone else, and people like you would argue that the midgets are terrible for being short and at ass height.

And again, I don't need to 'interpret" what he says. He says exactly what is on his mind and I take it as that.

There really is not a big need to call him names....he proves everything with his actions.

And lastly, he is a turd. Can't help the fact you won't accept it.
