A Little Ditty, and An Answer To Happiness

A Little Ditty

Just a little ditty,
I wanted to write,
sitting here all alone,
on this night.

Alone it seems,
may be a harsh word,
I am not alone,
or haven't you heard?

I talk to myself,
all day long it seems,
weighing both sides,
of My Thoughts and My Dreams.

So if ever I feel alone,
I am not really, You see?
I have myself to talk to,
and can usually agree.

With one thing or another,
most of the time,
and am ok with all that,
because I like Me, I am fine!

An Answer To Happiness

I finally figured it out,
and it is simple I find,
that it surprises Me to no end,
that it took all this time.

For to be happy in ones life,
all that it takes,
is to be true to Yourself,
give Yourself a break.

Don't beat yourself up,
over things that have gone wrong,
just do what feels right,
it won't take too long.

I find this method has worked well for Me,
and may work for You,
if You apply yourself to something,
that really feels true.

Something for Me that feels good,
right from the start,
is to open yourself to someone,
open Your Heart.

In doing that You may be surprised,
at what You will find,
maybe a better day will follow,
leaving a bad one behind.

We only live once,
on this planet of ours,
drifting through space,
among planets and stars.

Why not make that time,
go better than before,
just open up your heart,
open up that door...
