Being a Grandma I'm not surprised she is discussed since she comes from a time when showing too much leg made you a whore and proper young ladies must repress any and all sexuality. She wasn't too discussed to film it however. I do give her credit for knowing how to use that feature on her iphone though.

I think what the deal was could be important?, I mean what if they were offered 5 years?..seems like a bargain compared to 15..not sure most would accept that. Some form of punishment yes but heavy prison time..or any at all seems ridiculous and costly..what about 33k a year I think?

Cortez Beach. One of the pervy beaches, why doesn't this surprise me any? I'm from the region in question, the only beach with a worse reputation for lewd behavior is Caspersen Beach in Sarasota County (one county south of Manatee, where Cortez Beach is) Both beaches are known for people giving the law the finger & trying to get it on, it's actually nice to see someone getting a sentence for once instead of a fine & short jail stay.

Trust me, it's a public beach that's popular with families. Never should a kid's innocence on the beach be ruined by two people too lazy to jaunt just down the road from Motel Alley (anyone who EVER lived in the region knows how close rat motels are to this beach) Piss off, these horn-dogs got a fair sentence. I grew up all up & down that exact coastline, fornicating should always be reserved for behind closed doors, not in front of an audience on the beach.

While the deed was rude it does not deserve a 15 year sentence. I can see a stiff fine and community service. Abuse of the justice system will get worse if not checked by the people. Abuse of power because someone didn't take a plea bargain should be punishable by 15 years.

I hate justice being abused. I have a deep disdain for it. The scales must be balanced. These types of stories are going to shed light on the abuse. I want to see real justice. I think society will have had enough soon. Then karma is going to rape them for their misdeeds.

Really??? So you're in favor of a 15 year sentence??? For an unproven sexual encounter in public by consenting adults. Unproven in that neither the witnesses nor the video show penetration or genitalia. Meaning that the defendants claim that they were just grinding or gyrating and not having sex may be true.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be in trouble as it is against the law. But 15 years??? They would have got less time had they killed that same grandmother.

I would be opposed because 15 years is too long for the crime. That's a fact of life and if anyone doesn't see that, they might have a problem with mercy or honor.

i don't think society will miss him much considering he did 8 years for dealing coke. I wonder if he can still get his roids in prison?

But he served his time and that is over with now but let's not let that matter. Because nobody is allowed a mistake. Even a non violent mistake of transporting Cocaine. Oh no, we must punish those people until they are dead. No forgiveness, not even after they've done their time for the crime.

Yeah, really. The difference between the porn industry & a public setting is ages & legality. A legit porn is done with people of age, wanting to be there. Had I been there at the time with MY kids, I'd have taped it & submitted it as evidence myself. Granny wasn't the only person to see & film these idiots going at it, multiple witnesses did:

The area is full of lovely beaches, Anna Maria Island itself, just down the road (literal road) has a gorgeous public beach that I've been to who knows how many times. This s*** is nothing I want to see on the sand. Nothing anyone wants to see out on the beach. for that matter. We're not talking one of the area topless beaches, we're talking something entirely different & something no one wants to see without prior knowledge.

A mistake is when you accidentally do something dealing drugs is not a mistake besides they were offered a deal and they turned it down now they need to pay the piper.

Yes it was inappropriate and should have a fine attached or some community service. Not time in prison. That isn't justice, that is insane.

Again, I want to point out that not even the witnesses nor the video was proof of them having sex. Nobody saw sex. They saw simulated sexual activity. Not the same.

No an accident is an accident and unintentional. Doing something you shouldn't do is still a mistake. A mistake doesn't mean it has to be unintentional also.
