Yeah your probably right, that its the main reason kids 'try it'.

But when it comes to the so called 'druggie' crowd, if you look deeper, there's always some issues there. Whether its emotional problems, a mental illness or problems at home. Happy healthy kids don't have a desire to use drugs everyday, peer pressure or not, ime.

Anyway..... I never had to endure the DARE program, being that I don't live in the US. But I can remember the more teachers used to try and convince me about how evil drugs were, the more curious I was about trying them. Its basic psychology.
