Well the naysayers have started to make noises on the new LRSB program already. With the cost reductions on the F35 working I can see the same process being moved across to the new bomber program relatively easy.Only unknowns with cost overruns is with the newer tech but every major leap in aircraft design has had that. Like most military projects of this sort it'll be the next 40 years worth of maintenance and upgrade contracts where they'll make the serious money so they'll be shipped out on budget but by then they'll already need 200 millions worth of upgrades before they're even ready to take off let alone actually drop something

The first twenty aircraft are fixed price. That'll give an idea of overruns.
